If he is a stud he will still be a stud in two years , so why not wait an see. Hitting twenty goals for the first time and fifty points for the first time does not mean it will happen every year. See if he does that this year playing top line minutes and getting other teams top players playing against him . What's the hurry to lock him down and in 3 years trying to trade him if he turns out to be another RNH salary?

If they were going the bridge deal route it would of been done by now. It will be a long term deal whether you like it or not.

Linden dismissed a long term deal the other day when asked are they looking for a 6 or 8 year deal. He immediately answered no.

I think if they were looking long term it would have been done. I think they are pressing for a bridge deal.

He said no to 8 years. I heard the interview. I suspect they will do 6 years.

I really liked that signing, fair deal. Hope he disrupts the entitlement atmosphere at camp.

I like all the signings.

I really hope MDZ has a great year so Canuck fans will stop being so afraid to try something different other than Edler Tanev Hamhuis.

I hope Burmistrov is a steal.

Bo produced at a low end 1C scoring pace last season. This is craziness. Guaranteed high end 2 C in my opinion. At the age of 21 he produced 52 points with limited PP time kid is a stud and is already better than a 3 C
- CanuckDon

Yup. Agree or not Bo is projecting for 60-70 pts in the next few seasons and that is 2C territory whether we like it or not. There is no wait and see here lock him up for 6 years and pay him what he is worth.

I'm on board with MDZ and am so glad Miller is gone as well. This is Marky's shot IMO…Nilsson will be interesting also. Burmistrov's #'s last year were projecting very well…if Green gives him opportunity I think we will be pleasantly surprised.

I think he will be decent for us.
MDZ not so much. He's been a bust a few times already and nyr didnt seem to want to keep him.
Like all the other signings though.
