Haven't been here at all lately. Downtime to recharge for the coming season in 81 days. Hasn't been much action around the NHL lately.

Would be nice if some trades of big names finally fell through. Duchene. TML were supposed to be going after a big name. Lots of older free agents still available.

I really only have one more question. Point wise what do you think are realistic numbers for Granlund and Baertschi this season?
Granlund now has 171 games and 63 points.
Baertschi 206 games and 93 points.

If healthy they should both be around 35-40 points. I am expecting more from Granlund this year however he is showing real good upside. Baertchi is soft and will most likely be injured for close to 30 games.

he was definitely unique.

I also have a hard time imagining someone eating fettuccine alfredo in a hot tub.

Wait you don't watch BB after dark...?

But GOT is boss....they also break all norms and now got the women in a man's world kicking a$$.

Too bad they couldn't come here and turn Canuck world around.

Not a big reader. But the wife has read them over and over. Knows so much more than me.

If Sven can find consistency, I am optimistic he can push for 45 point range. I think he will finish 4th on team scoring again this year behind Bo and the twins, with LE close behind

The only teams I am comfortable saying they will finish ahead of are Colorado and Detroit

You think the scrap heap that McPhee put together will be better than Van?

Morning guys, hey how about JB goes looking for a few UFA's that he can pump and dump, or is that pick and flip and then he can get another pump and dump player.

With two pump and dumps and one pick and flip, there could be 3 new prospects that will get us to division champions, but if it's not working that way, JB can again do another two pump and dumps at the TDL and buy some really really talented players that will definitely put the team in the playoffs.

It so exciting to be a canuck fan right now with all the pump and dumps available, not to mention the pick and flips we could realize...oohh I'm so excited I'm giddy.

I go back and forth on it, because over the course of the season I could see them selling off most of their 9 pending UFA contracts, but I think they will be. I am not confident that VAN's coaching change, goalies, defense and scoring issues will see improvements from last season

Gotta keep pumping out stars, everyone wants VAN's players because they are super good. Pump up bad players by exposing them to lots and lots of icetime and everyone will want them. Probably grab a couple top-10 picks

Hank - 55
Dank - 55
LE - 52
Sutter - 47
Granlund - 44
Gagner - 42
Baertchi - 39

Both on expiring contracts and if they have good seasons both are going to look for healthy raises. Probably near the 3 mill mark. Won't be able to afford both.
