Good call. Care to elaborate? - Nuck4U
All 4 should be depth players as i see it.
Time is over for plugs being called up & staying up.
The ufa signings will help in that regard & hopefully less injuries & Rodin & Boucher also can show what they have. |

Interesting. That's off the radar. What do you like about him? - Nuck4U
Nice shot during development camp. He skates well. Seems to play a responsible two way game with some offensive upside. He wasn't drafted. |

This would be your best post ever, I'm imploring you to make all your posts as breathlessly relevant and meaningful as the above quote. I fully support future messages like to one above and promise not to mock or engage you if you can keep you future posts as insightful as the one quoted above.
Well done, your post of the year! - Pres.cup
You can't resist the honeypot it seems. Anyway, this engagement is a step above your usual crass juvenile humorless posts. |

Yeah. You're right. I saw with time and space Carcone was noticeable. Look forward to exhibition games to see if he's a gamer and not just a good practice player. |

His scoring stats weren't off the charts in his first year in Utica but were the same as JV. He was also a plus player on a team with a lot of minus players. Seems to be a late bloomer.
If he ever makes it, probably a 3rd liner at best. Doesn't really have the skill set for a 4th line role. |

Well 1st off everyone needs a sense of humour.
As for shortcuts & slangs idc tbh lol
Like i mentioned before i'm a liftime sports junky & these blogs r great fun.
Generally i try to keep it short & seek if others agree or disagree with trades or line-ups or draft picks. Lastly i enjoy the posters who give insight into the Canucks other than stats or puck watching type analysts. - Nighthawk

Btw any line-ups i do post have reasons behind them other than simply plugging players into a slot. When it comes to maturity or readiness thats JB's & TG's call.
Chemistry is my 1st choice for lines.
Usually begins with pairings & the 3rd wheel makes it all gel & tick.
Being that we lack game breakers or superstars some lines r about who fits the role their game can offer.
Down the middle is where i begin & that C decides for me what type of winger is most suitable. Playmakers like Hank r easy enough to surround with wingers. BO is a bull with his own style & wingers should feed off of his style & look for spots of opportunity. Sutter is a 200' C who shoots more & very little playmaking & creative ability so he becomes more so a shutdown line. 3C & PK is his role & not the PP.
Petterson & Gaudette if they develop as we hope will change our options greatly.
With us not having playmaking wingers like a Kane its about patience. We have the sniping ability in our prospects but not enough set-ups from their line mates. Wingers like JV & Gads r nice skill sets to add in the future if they make it. On D its still a black hole with offence & a PP QB being non existent. Thats not unusual but hopefully OJ can be a partial solution & next draft get us our stud. Newel ought to inject a better system & our PP will improve but only so far. |

Was perusing Capfriendly & noticed Sutter has 4 yrs left on his contract.
Looking at the time frame for Petterson & Gaudette to be fully ready I can see Sutter either traded or goes as a UFA. Otherwise our 4 C if Gaudette can bump him & we get a friendly contract for Sutters next deal. JB did say foundational player not core after all & that says a lot. |

Sutter should stay for two seasons and then get traded at the deadline... so traded 3 years from now... we should have a couple of decent centers coming up by then ie: the guys you mentioned. |

Other than the extrovert comment, and your posts I can understand without having to read 3 times before giving up. I don't like trying to interpret riddle me this type of post.
I also like that if someone disagrees with you, it's not personal.

Looking ahead to the 2018 draft....
Assuming Svechnikov Dahlin Tkachuk r the top 3 who is BPA or who do ppl want?
Furthermore if all 3 r gone who is next?
I like Merkley & Quinn & helps us get top D.
Acquiring another 1st would be high on my agenda.
Trading up or down is a wait n see game but worth exploring where we end up picking. |
