The team can still play gritty hockey even though they aren't tough. - thundachunk
Do you think they actually will though? Maybe with Guds on the back end. |

If Pedan makes the team and we have Gudbransen I don't think players will be taking to many liberties on us.
Horvat Sutter Sedins Virtanen all play gritty hockey. |

Like an enforcer? I don't buy into that. Play hard every game, go to the corners and work. You get pushed push back. Don't back down. Every player has the ability to do that.
Don't be a little b!tch. Is that to much to ask? |

I 😜💦💦(drool) at the thought of getting him 😍
Tkachuk would be a good consolation prize.
I say never can have enough quality C's.
Top D r forever the chase for the majority of teams.
So again if my top 3 r gone who looks good for us.
I realize its premature but there is deep high end talent next draft. - Nighthawk
Dahlin yes is lights out by all measures. Svetchnikov too.
But Tkachuk is already falling due to skating and not being as skilled or mean as his older brother. Let's see how he adjusts to fast paced NCAA playing for BU.
Who else to keep an eye on for D would be Quinn Hughes, Ryan Merkley, Bode Wilde.
For top C: Joe Veleno, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Ty Dellandrea are good to follow. |

Well according to baseball analyst's and other sports writers. Everything you have talked about is wrong. Literally after you said relief pitching means nothing, Ken Rosenthal talked about how you need to have really strong relief pitching in the playoffs and the price is high for relief pitchers. - manvanfan
Nice to know you are arguing about a completely different subject |

Wild n wooly time.....
So ignoring obvious reasons why it won't happen.....
Put DD on waivers to go to Utica.
Sign Gaunce on a 2-way deal & waive for Utica.
Idc if either or both gets picked up.
Sign Iginla & Doan to 1yr deals with scoring bonuses.
4th line....Iginla Gagner Doan
Someone else can do the 3 other lines. - Nighthawk
You had me until the 4th line signings. It should be about speed and secondary scoring. Rodin Burmistrov JV could add that. |

Eriksson Horvat Gagne
Beartschi Sutter Boeser
Sedin Sedin Granlund
Boucher Burmistrov Virtanen - thundachunk
That could work. If you want more speed on 4th Rodin could rotate in for Boucher. |

Tkachuck also missed the draft by a single day this year.
Allan McShane
Then there's this kid who is well the larger version of Pettersson.

2 points per game vs players his own age and a point per game vs 20 year olds.
That Swiss forward Kurashev.
Another Sutter from Everett.
Tkachuk better step up his game this year at BU. |

JV is on course to showing up. MacEwen is getting his pro feet wet. Gadjovich will keep improving his skating in the O before arriving. |

I have a hard time believing that Green is going to have much of an influence in that department, if Torts couldn't do it, first year already touted super coach Green won't be much better.
Hiring a new coach in Vancouver is like selecting a new prospect, already a great nobody is better. |

Wonder how Vantel's Vegas trip is going? Pounding Michalob's at Casino Royale and swimming thru the Bellagio fountains by now? |

If you want to win the team has to buy in to the program |

I think he is staying in the Aria. The pool drinks are 30$ a pop. They are like 7 shots but still $30. |

McShane is a gamer. I have a height bias for C though.
Not into another Sutter especially if we are talking top 10 pick here.
Who's the Swiss kid as site link won't open.
Agree on Tkachuck he could fall out of top 10 if he doesn't. His size, age, and name has propt him up thus far. |

Oh so now there's a Green program, the team IMO is the team. The players will adjust to the on ice system, but Eriksson isn't going to drop the gloves or face wash Marchand because Green tells him to.
Again my opinion, Green needs to learn how to be a coach in the NHL, and institute a system, and that will take time. |

I agree, same diff, but I'll stand by my opinion that Sedins, Eriksson, Sutter, Edler, Tanev...etc. All play their game, none of them are going the extra cross check, face wash, after whistle antics....they haven't done so in their careers, but because everyone is hyped on Green he's going to change the culture.
