I think he is staying in the Aria. The pool drinks are 30$ a pop. They are like 7 shots but still $30.

He's gonna try and order half of one.

If Pedan makes the team and we have Gudbransen I don't think players will be taking to many liberties on us.

Horvat Sutter Sedins Virtanen all play gritty hockey.

- thundachunk

I don't think players will be taking liberties against us, but it has nothing to do with the Canuck's grit level. They aren't exactly a team that other teams are going to "get up" for. At best the Canucks are going to be at the low end of mediocre next season. Every opposing team's goal will be to get the two points and not get banged up.

I agree, same diff, but I'll stand by my opinion that Sedins, Eriksson, Sutter, Edler, Tanev...etc. All play their game, none of them are going the extra cross check, face wash, after whistle antics....they haven't done so in their careers, but because everyone is hyped on Green he's going to change the culture.
- Makita

I know. I just want to see some good hard hockey being played. Play to the whistle every shift. Work. I want Green to get the best of each player and really thats all any coach can ask.

Game is changing from that. Speed, skill and grit is how you develop now.
- Nuck4U

Ok, lets say you assumption is correct, which one of those established players is playing with the after whistle grit.

Nashville, Pittsburgh, Anaheim, San Jose, Calgary, and on and on play with grit, Canucks turn and line change and leave one guy to take all the other teams love.

They can't even throw a punishing body check, Dorsett has grit, and I'm at a loos to think of another other than Gudbranson.

We don't draw many penalties & it will probably continue.

I totally agree, but I hope people start to temper their expectations of Green, first long loosing streak and there will be people poopting on his lineups, Botchford will crucify him in the paper, talk shows will be hysterical.

Philip Kurashev
McShane 5'11" 190. Same height as Sid Crosby.

- manvanfan

Sorry meant Swedish kid. Dam auto correct have it set on the no more Swedes mode.

McShane goes to the hard areas but he's no Crosby. Even being generational good still had to let him grow on me over that darn height bias for C.

Kurashev may be a 1st rounder but don't see him anywhere near the top 10.

I have no expectations of Green. Right now I think he is our Dallas Eakins. If he can get us some wins and be better than WD I am fine with that.

He wasn't my choice. Personally I would have went in a totally different direction.

Your going to pass on Dahlin if Van gets the chance?

Crosby height, not Crosby type.

Kurashev had a pretty decent year in his first year in the Q. See What he does this year.

Grit is shown between whistles. After whistles you draw penalties or protect the goaltender. Unless a guy wants to send a message but team is on the light side now to instigate. Players have stood up before and this crop has some gamers to work in.

I am pushing 40 and I want to show my kids if you work at something and you don't give up you can do anything. I figure this is a good example.

That sounds like last year's script

If they can draw some penalties, with an improved PP, that would be their best play with who they have ready to go for the roster.

By the way nice wine grove.

Nope, you have to learn how to interact with controversial individuals, I have faith in you, you're like my favourite child
- Makita

A little food fight is fun though.... right?

Although, talking to the previously stated individual is like trying to make polite dinner conversation with Trump.
I think it could be impossible, although 3 out of 5 of his posts are not ridiculously offensive or cryptic.... so maybe there is hope after all..... ...
