Been watching a lot of String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic on YouTube. We got tickets for The Tedeschi Trucks Band in Seattle in November. Two nights of ass shredding blues& soul!!

You like bluegrass at all, I've been listening to a lot of Alison Krauss lately.

*** (three stars) for not including Gaunce in this lineup - good for you sir

We can all learn a little something here today from this good poster.

I like that Dorsett isn't included either

MacEwen, Virtanen, Gadjovich is the future 4th line that makes me go from 6 to midnight, semi to rock solid, ehhhhyooooo

I figure Don will love this headline:

Flyers' Patrick sidelined by facial infection

- WhiteLie

Ok, so a while back you reserved judgement on Green because you didnt know much about him. Now you've heard a few things you like and youre now thinking he might be a better coach than Pat Quinn??

As for paragraph 2: The support coaching staff of Brown, Jarvis, Baumgarner and Malholtra is the best assistant staff in Canucks history? Brown, who wasnt good enough to keep in Arizona, career assistant Jarvis, and 2 rookies are the best staff we have ever had??

- WhiteLie

Well to be fair, you never know how anyone is connected or not. Just the first post by dragon that seemed to imply he has input into staffing hires.
- Makita

I wouldn't say input, more like preferences for staff hirings. I didn't see the post to see how he worded it but yeah.

this is interesting (interestingly bad)

Nucks ranked 7th

Top Prospects: Thatcher Demko, Brock Boeser, Nikolay Goldobin, Alexandre Grenier, Brendan Gaunce, Jonathan Dahlen, Cole Cassels, Dmitri Zhukenov, Jordan Subban, Olli Juolevi, Andrey Pedan, Jakob Stukel, Elias Pettersson, Kole Lind, Jonah Gadjovich, Michael DiPietro

no longer on the team, x3 nope, definitely nope, gone home to mommy, not a chance, doubt it, highly unlikely....

no Gaudette, Lockwood Rodin or MacEwen either - classy journalism boys

Interestingly, someone has ranked their prospect pool in a top 10. Yes it does belong in the top 10 but usually not recognized.

Glaring misses also Virtanen and Brisebois.

Did get something right that Philly and TB have some seriously strong prospect pools.

Copy of the post, I think the capitalization of AND suggests he had input, BUT i can be misinterpreting

if you remember correctly I said Jarvis improved areas such as offense and defense NOT PP....AND I asked JB to hire brown as a PP improvement. Jarvis was better as an eye in the sky coach.
All were correct.

we took a big leap forward behind the bench

Hi,

I've got a good-looking Boeser goal plus notes on Smashfest, the best Russians and still a glimmer of hope for the Olympics?

A lot depends on the players on the ice, too.

my favourite part.

Season before Jarvis: Goals for 186 | Goals Against 239
Season with Jarvis: Goals for 178 | Goals Against 241

Am I interpreting this correctly, are you suggesting that you called up Benning and suggested he hire Brown on your recommendation and he agreed?

Or you posted here that Brown would be a good hire, and it was coincidental that Brown was hired?

- Makita

throwing shade when you know better what he really meant was he was asking as in wanting a new PP coach and JB hired Brown. After all these years haven't you learned to speak Dragon? You should watch GOT and adapt.

No I haven't learned to speak dragon, I happen to be an individual that has to deal with professional bureaucrats, "you state clearly what you mean, otherwise you ask for clarification".

Which is what I did, there were two choices. I am waiting to hear back.

Dont really have a favourite (though I think AV had some good ones over his tenure) but I know that when you have a combined 5 years coaching experience between 2 of your rookie staff, it isnt your best one ever. And during a rebuild, the stats wont support it as such
