Horvat will continue to get PK assignments and more defensive zone starts until they have another center other than Sutter who is more proficient at faceoffs than Bo. - YeOldTimer
You mean Gagne? He's not far behind % wise. Considering the Nucks had the third worst penalty kill in the league, I'd say it wouldn't hurt to shake things up.
There's no reason for Sutter, Eriksson, Granlund, Chaput, Sven, Burmistrov - anyone of these guys could/should step up and relieve Bo of PK duty. I'm excited to see how Green will deal with this or how different it'll be compared to WD's stubbornness. |

Its GAGNER GAGNER GAGNER....
Last year was last year & a new coaching staff & a fresh start will change many things. The WD experiment ended & time we make a new beginning. |

how many of these guys do we presently have? - hillbillydeluxe
Stecher might hit 30-35 if he's really lucky, depending on injuries and PP time. Hutton I don't know, his shot is terrible, although he has great hands, maybe with secondary assists?
Edler's breaks too many sticks for those P totals anymore.
Del Zotto did it like 6 years ago....

Why do i get the feeling that if Gagner is not scoring on a similar clip to last year (on a much more offensive team), people will scream bust and blame JB for a terrible hiring.
I think he'll be decent, but don't expect him to put up 50 pts on this team. |

That feeling you're talking about is called reality - unfortunately Nucks fans don't usually live in it.
GAGNER (sorry Nighthawk) (thankfully not GAGNE - see Simon) will probably fetch 35-40pts like he did on Edmonton or Arizona a few years back when both those teams were awful, like we'll be this year. |

Comes down to who can take face offs well enough for PK. You'd want someone on par with Sutter as second unit option. But failing that Bo could take f/o and scurry off, if won, for another player. |

A veteran face-off man for the PK unit 1. The likes of Richardson, Maholtra.
Can just let Gaunce develop into the role. |

Welcome to Vancouver 😂😂
Those screamers u refer i rather call whiners lol
Over the decades many of our fans r clueless about hockey in many ways.
Stat quoters & chicken littles galore without much knowledge.
Its the fickle nature we r tagged with that those r responsible for & the new gens hardly actually watches hockey intensely when they parrot the internet. |

Veteran we have in Sutter. Unless they want to use cap space, to sign someone for PK faceoffs, that they flip at TDL, it's not likely.
He who shall not be named seems to have skating issues for that role. But Guadette may be a candidate to develop into that role. We may get a glimpse end of season. |

The funny part is that 35-40pts is well worth 3 mil. |

It's hard for a 3x3 year deal to ever come back to bite you but I think there is definitely a few and I put myself I that category that think Gagner will amount to very little here.
As always it depends on who he plays with and how often etc but I will be happy with anything over 30 pts from him. |

I'll take the over. I'd be shocked if doesn't score more than 30. 40 is probably a reasonably safe projection |

speaking of Sbisa!
He signed a 3/3.6 deal and was constantly ridiculed as being too expensive for his role.
Someone will complain. They always do. |

I ain't no gambler, but i would not feel confident to make those claims.
Really depends on where he plays, injuries, etc. of course. |
