Yes. We are left with speculation. So to liven up the boring times. Going back to your post on previous thread. The one themed future will be better on line ups. Below would hit the trifecta of turnarounds for excitement in 2018.
Kane Turris Gagner - young vets in prime years with speed skill grit
Sven Bo BB - ready for role and pushing for more under buffer
Granlund Sutter Goldy - Balance of playmaking, speed, shooters, twoway
Dahlen EP JV - developed against men enter as secondary scoring & speed
Burmistrov - versatile all 3 forward positions and Russian connection for Tree
Tree Tanev - Dynamite pair. Shot suppression RHD unleashes LHD beast
OJ Guddy - Smooth all around LHD with thumping leader RHD simple game
Dahlin Stecher - Generational type LHD breaks in with PP role & RHD chemistry
Hutton Chatfield - Rotate in as LHD & RHD options as skating puck movers
MDZ gains value for TDL pick return. Sedins retire. Allows for Edler & LE to agree to waive. They are traded for picks before entry draft. Tree improves his game. He sees KHL issues. He is offered better contract and role. Canucks finally win lotto. UFA homers signed with cap space to lead youth movement of turnaround with development of prospects. Guadette & MacEwen next to push into line up. - Nuck4U
I hope if Hutton keeps dropping on people's future depth charts that he gets moved before his value is destroyed. Plenty of teams would value him, in the right situation he could be Justin Schultz 2.0 |

Yeah he might get traded. Just as LHD wouldn't see him above a future projected Tree, OJ, Dahlin. In that hypothetical he could rotate in for young OJ & Dahlin. But would be trade bait. Otherwise just with known factor of OJ he slots in top 4 as the rebuild move would be to trade Edler. |

Well I guess everyone sees things in their own perspective.
Kane Turris Gagner - young vets in prime years with speed skill grit, No thanks no way to Kane, I know you've mentioned him in several posts as an acquisition,
Granlund Sutter Goldy - Balance of playmaking, speed, shooters, twoway Goldobin and twoway don't belong in the same sentence, unless it's with Tryamkins wife,
Tree Tanev - Dynamite pair. Shot suppression RHD unleashes LHD beast Not sure what the descriptor means, Tryamkin is a spoiled child glad he's gone. |

I dont have high hopes just yet for JV or Gadjovich but am a little surprised where you slot Goldobin. I think he could be a decent middle 6 winger |

T&T= Dynamite
Goldy = speed + playmaking = shooting
Kane > hockey sense < civility

Well i'm not far off on WD's assessment of Goldy that playing one way only will get you a seat on the end of the bench.
Players like JV and Gadj do take longer then the more skilled. They could be 24 before they bust out for more then 30 points in a season. Hopefully not. |

Pump and dump bias - Nuck4U
All I can say is thank god you have nothing to do with the team,
Tryamkin is an underachieving player that deserves to be shafted by KHL
Goldobin is a one dimensional player, wouldn't know how to back check even if Sutter ran into him while back checking, although he will look good in Utica.
Kane will be in prison soon...a buffalo prison because nobody will be stupid enough to acquire him...well almost nobody.
And did you read a trendy article talking about pick and flip and pump and dump, because you are the only one that seems to think it's a cool catchy phrase. |

Fair enough, I figure he's close to being an NHLer. Getting better on the defensive side (especially for a highly skilled offensive guy) just requires effort, which hopefully he learns to give
Agreed on the second paragraph, though I am less sold on Gadjovich than most. A good season this year could turn my opinion on him still |

You're right about Goldy time to show it like Sven did changing teams.
As for Gadjovich remember Lucic was taken at #50 and then junior team and him had dominate Memorial Cup year. Not sure that's fair to compare but Gadjovich has the make up to follow it. He knows he needs to continue improving his skating. That should factor more of when he breaks through in today's game. |

thanks for the A, what's a shade game, you mentioned that a few times also, is it something with the pump and dump phrase? Honest question, I'm not into trendy sayings so I honestly don't understand. - Makita

Okay will give you benefit of doubt this isn't to pull my leg.
I'm no spring chicken but pump and dump is a universally used hockey phrase for building up a player to trade them.
Throwing shade is out of the urban lexicon

How dare you put that horrific excuse of a player into our lineup, let alone our FUTURE line up! shame on you sir.....
Wesley Myron has a better shot at that slot than BG, or did you mean Cameron Gaunce????

I don't care how many times it's written, goldy or guddy or granny, I think it's childish, lazy and disrespectful and I will continue to write their proper surnames to the best of my ability. |
