Doesn't that kinda make him a 2lc? Paid accordingly.
I know he's no elite 2lc like kesler... in the top 20s scoring amongst centers for the past 5 years or sip running. - Pres.cup
He is a 2nd line centre. I hope he makes #1 but on a SC winning team right at this very moment he is only a 3rd line centre. We were talking hypotheticals.
Some here don't think Bo will ever be a legitimate #1 centre. I am not of that group but right now I want a bridge deal. He still needs to prove. |

A group decision as far as JB asking for opinions & ideas.
In the end his mind will most likely be set beforehand excepting a couple tough calls.
He will chair any group discussion & Cull won't be involved.
JB & TL will lead any talks & refer to TG as needed. - Nighthawk
That is all I am saying. Ultimately JB is the decision maker and that is the way it should be but from what I have seen JB trusts and listens to his group. Good leaders do that. |

yeah well I'm right and you're wrong,
I wear boxers and you wear a thong.
Anyways i disagree that any championship roster in a long time has ever had a 20 goal 53 point center on the 3rd line..
Staal from 09 was close but he didn't have the same point totally Bo has this year... and it was a much higher scoring season in general.
This years sc champions 3rd line center had 37 points.... nowhere near as good.
Mike Fisher with 42 points was Nashville's 2lc.
On the pens he's 3lc.

I still disagree. Even the Utica coach will input on who has been playing well and who has not.
Yes JB gives Green the players but its up to Green how he deploys them. Even then with good communication between them I still think its a group decision. - thundachunk
What I have been explaining but he refuses to acknowledge the coaching staff's role. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt in overstating. But Nighthawk is protraying that they are on standby waiting for JB to dictate the roster from camp. |

especially considering Nashville just gave Bonino a 2c contract to replace fisher, clearly they think a centre is more than just points.
If Horvat beats guys in faceoffs over half the time, can play against any line in the NHL, and puts up 50+ points, how is he not a top 6 centre? I don't get why people peg him as a 3c guy. They say he's not a playmaker but he had plenty of pretty passes, plenty of good rushes this season. Chemistry with wingers seems to dictate whether a guy is a 1c or a 2c on most teams, and Bo looks good with anyone.
Haters will hate, I love me some Bo Horvat. He will be the 1c and the future captain of this team for a long time. |

I spend more than a woman on underwear.
Bo will be a champion one day and Kesler will not.
I honestly believe this team could make the playoffs.
My line combos are better than Nighthawks. Playoffs better. |

I hate to agree but too many factors go into what the line up is. I guarantee if Green or JB says this is my guy that is the guy in the line up. It is a two way street. Hell even Trent Cull has a say because he will have his guy too. |

Del Zotto is a waste of 3 million. I would never have signed him.
He hasn't had a full season since his rookie year.
His best year was in 2012 playing for the Rangers.
His +/- is not good at all.
He is a bandaid defence man.
I bet he plays maybe 35 or 40 games and gets 10 to 15 points. (Thats being Very generous.)
He licks balls. - thundachunk
agree.....not sure what JB sees in him myself |

Like your spirit to go beyond expectation. You never know. The variables within the course of a season produces unexpected outcomes. |

Another try at improving the PP. MDZ is an upgrade over PL. We shall see how he fares. Pedan's athletic attributes aside, has not shown a consistency to process the pace of the game at the NHL level. He has a long shot to prove he can stick this camp with the competition that will be there. |

But most would have a 20g 33a 21 year old as their 2lc... which is what is advocate Bo is. Provided the center alive him puts up more points... although i could see the minutes played being similar.
Also Kessler was 2lc in 2010 - Pres.cup

You already said this for the last time a few posts ago...... liar
If we draft another center who turns out better then Bo then we will have to trade one of those 3 centers because of cap space.... sure it'd be nice to have the highest scoring best 3lc in the world.... but thats as unrealistic as never having to wipe again.... - Pres.cup

TL Media patsy. Nobody. Along for the ride.
JB Ultimately the decision lies with him.
TG most input of anyone. |

I'm close to one of the most optimistic people in here. I don't think they make the playoffs, unless everything goes perfectly. |

I might be the most optimistic type in here but this is not a PO team.
What we do have is a fun Utica team to whet our appetites.
2018-19 will be the most exciting year coming up. |
