Personally I've always liked Streit better. Markov is/was trying to cash in on being one of the few offensive D on a terrible D core and it backfired. Montreal minus Markov and Emelin make it easier for me to like them

You're entitled to your opinion, statistically Markov is pretty good in both ends. .58 ppg last year and in general has been a Hab his entire career, I don't get it personally. Also, I do not and will not like them more or less. Aside from the Flames and the Leaves they might be my least favourite club.

Actually I take that back, it's Guance's fault. If he'd just sign his new 6x6 contact already we'd be talking about whether he's an elite 3LC, an average 2LC or a future 1LC.

Personally I think his floor is an elite 3LC on a champion team and his ceiling is McDavid on acid with a bit more grit.
He's due for a 6" growth spurt as well so I'm thinking he'll end up as big and tough as chakra in his prime but with the speed and hands of McDavid, and the grin of Kassian.

Don't matter if you buy it or not…'if' it's true it could be an issue. Vrbata did play a lot of his first year with the Sedins. Eriksson was moved out as the coach panicked after 6 games with them. Bottom line is we truly don't know what GM's promise players before the coach sets the rosters…it is what it is.
