Idk if that makes sense?

If that's true...
why did they bring it back in the first place?

It also doesn't make sense,
because others were eating it & not getting sick in Peru & then Spain, etc

- jdfitz77

They liked the way it looked.

Seriously. There are several toxic varieties of tomato and it mutates a lot, actually. It wasn't until recipes from Spanish sources were acquired that Italians started trusting the fruit.

It's also not as filling as a lot of other fruits from the New World, so even peasants disregarded it at first. And I'm serious about the low status it had simply from the fact it grew in the ground as a vine.

And its terrible business and why the NHL has a lockout once a decade.
- BeadyEyedDouche

Not that I wanna see lockouts...
but it's the owners' $$$

If they're gonna pay it out, it is what it is

The Cap should theoretically keep lockouts bc of player salaries from happening anymore
The owners got what they wanted when the tied it to overall revenue

I still don't know what that has to do with pizza being invented in Italy,
and NOT in America

Wasn't trying to be malicious in corrections I...
but I've heard this "we created pizza" bs before,
and it's just not true

- jdfitz77

I was indirectly quoting a Will Ferrel movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0415306/

I added the hockey part.

chad johnson would have been fine for 2015-16

Again, that's hindsight talking. This was a guy who couldn't catch on anywhere, and was not very good on some good defensive teams.

Tomatoes were first enjoyed by the rich
Bc they were a novelty when first brought back
Poor ppl couldn't afford them
Then the rich started getting sick bc of the reaction between tomatoes & their silverware & pots
It's not that they had poisonous tomatoes
(Yeah, I know there are- kinda)
They were eating the same tomatoes that weren't making others sick

It was IN FACT the poor who discovered they weren't poisonous Bc they didn't have use of the same fancy metals that the rich were using

Tomatoes then eventually became very popular in Italy

Gotta go though...
I'm actually eating Spaghetti & meatballs right now
(Which was created in the US- by Italians immigrants)

I think that's a good number for them. He'll play the same role as Stepan for 1.15 mil cheaper
- chilliard77

That doesn't make it better when the other guy was even more overpaid.

I'd gladly take Zibanejad at 5.35. I'm surprised he didn't get more, that Arvidsson contract must have taken it down a bit.

People in here are always saying who is getting overpaid like they can project what a player will do and where salaries will be in years to come. Let's say we give Kane 5 years $30 million and in 2 years players in his range are making $7 million. Even if you think he's only worth $5 million now we would still make out over the length of the contract. Until the cap becomes an issue I really don't care who makes what.

Turnips are a biennial plant, taking two years from germination to reproduction. The root spends the first year growing and storing nutrients, and the second year flowers, produces seeds, and dies. The flowers of the turnip are tall and yellow, with the seeds forming in pea-like pods. In areas with less than seven-month growing seasons, temperatures are too cold for the roots to survive the winter. To produce seeds, pulling the turnips and storing them over winter is necessary, taking care not to damage the leaves. During the spring, they may be set back in the ground to complete their lifecycle.

Agreed.

I go to LaDivina at least once a week.

They have just gotten back to pre-raid quality.
