- Will Anisimov eventually be traded? If so, what is the return?
- What will the return be for the Hossa LTIR situation?
- Which prospect(s) (if any) will shine in training camp and push for a starting spot?

It truly is the dead quiet of Summer as far as the NHL is concerned.....

1. I don't think Butcher signs with the Hawks either; my guess is the Wild.

2. I prefer to retain Anisimov and think the likelihood of him being traded is low. We already have a hole in the top-6 and trading him to fill that hole (i.e. a Duchene trade or the like) would just shift the hole somewhere else. However, he has been the remaining Hawk player who comes up the most in trade rumors.

3. True about the Hossa LTIR issue; can't do anything until after Game 1 but rumors could float around as to what Bowman's options are for when he can move forward.

4. Although likelihood is low, someone like Fortin could push for a starting role at forward. Then there's guys like Dauphin, Rutta, Oesterle, and Gustafsson who could get long looks but not sure if they technically qualify as rookies.

Regardless of my opinion, just try to jump start some conversation.
