Only Hank is worth resigning not Daniel.
I know its illogical but if Daniel has a magical season i change my mind.
I don't see that happening but i see Hank as an asset still.
If they both retire together thats fine by me.
I believe Hank has more in the tank & given the right wingers can still play a key role.

Yup. Though on another angle it couldn't hurt if they kept their ready/close winger prospects all together on the Comets for a bit. Like as in to start the season only. Wave a Center like Chaput to help those wingers. Then fully assess beyond camp if they have anything in their non-waivable bubble players still with Canucks. After x number of games into season evaluations can be made to either keep, move or send down for depth. Could give more incentives to reward prospects who show progressive consistency with call ups.

This roster line up would get me to go to Utica:

Goldy Chaput BB - lack of C a problem but Chaput was good in AHL.
Dahlen MacEwen JV - gel chance for Dahlen with JV/Mac on future line with EP
Palmu Molino Megna - learn to score as pros with experienced player buffer.
Labate Cassels Archibald - role players harness craft & support line up.

A concrete answer doesn't exist at this time for your question. They have left things up in the air. So gave your query as possible within what Sedins have said. Having followed the Sedins as people not just players I can honestly believe they haven't thought about anything beyond this season. Perhaps post TDL retirement or playing more might enter their thoughts. But rest asssured it won't be really contemplated until next offseason.

Hansen was one of the few players I had mixed emotions about letting go. There is no irony or hypocrisy in that. It is not like a 37 year old or 35 year old that lumbers up the ice like Burrows Higgins Sedins Hamhuis .

3 years is not long term. There will be many teams next year asking for his service when he becomes a free agent. He is cheap he is fast and he can play on any line.
