Wonder that myself. I really like Ryan's game, but he's neither a transition guy or a burner for that matter at all. If they're really going to be going for a speedy, transition game it may hurt his production. I'm not too worried because anything he loses in the offensive zone, he'll more than make up for us defensively, but for what he's making we need him to produce as well.

on that same note if we see promise in someone like reinhart (although he isn't really speedy) or mittlestadt to play 2C he becomes a very good bargaining chip to add a winger or solid d man..

At this point, yeah. If we have the luxury of having 3-4 quality centers we can ship one off. It's really wings and d we need now as it is. I think there's a good likelihood that Mittzy makes someone expendable, whether that is RoR, Nylander or the Skunkeroo. I'm ready for the log jam.
