Linden 16 and I were debating about bringing back the Sedins which I am strongly opposed to and I mention a better and cheaper choice of mentoring would be Hansen , Now I am said to be advocating and Hypocritical because I don't want old slow Canucks like Hamhuis Burrows Higgins and the Sedins back.


He said the young guys are not ready to be top line players and I offered him my opinion. It should have ended there instead of this snowballing.

I was looking at the Oilers structure on Cap Friendly and they really do have an impressive blue print . Five solid Dmen locked up for years when Nurse gets signed .

Agreed, always liked Brackett. It seems like everyone is finally on the same page the organization has cut a lot of dead weight and promoted some younger and more progressive hockey minds

I would hope any and all methods would be employed to get players . Just not exclusively using a moneyball approach or old school " you cant beat them on the ice if you cant beat them in the alley" mindset. They need to use all the tools at hand to rebuild. Rebuilding the scouting department was a good first step ,even if it wasnt as extensive as was hoped for.
