I feel the exact opposite. So far this season is all logistics and very little action/substance

So it is almost like the Sabres are rarely talked about and more so Eichel. I think it has been pointed out here before, but there was a ranking of top 50 young NHL stars and Eichel was not on the list, then once the writer was told, he said "oh I forgot about him, he is #11" (or something close to 11).

Here is a new one, from thescore.com, (4) teams without captains, Arizona, Maple Leafs, Carolina and Golden Knights. Wait, did the Sabres pick a captain? It is liked we are constantly glossed over. Maybe a good thing, but I cant wait for our GM to get some great players next to Eichel and watch his name "come out of nowhere". He is such a talent and cant wait for us to lock him up for 8 more years!

I think that does happen a little bit, but they had Arizona?!?!? and Carolina on there but not Buffalo? I just dont get it. Maybe they still think we have Gionta? Who knows anymore.

We're better than Detroit or Boston 100% I think.

Could we absolutely melt down? Yeah, possibly. If we stink this year then big, big changes are coming and Eichel will be the only one safe

Yeah their centers aren't very good and Radulov is gonna hurt more than they think. Druin is a nice piece but they have bigger structural problems. Having a bad year might be best for them in the long run. Trading for a center like Johansson is rare
