I think pool party and PLD are going to get a chance to play top 6 min on very talented rosters. McAvoy is also a guy who I could see winning.

Vegas's Russian centre is another darkhorse.

Kaprizov is another guy who might or might not be in the NHL. Joel Eriksson Ek too.

Haven't seen anything that indicates PLD is NHL ready or even close to cracking CLB roster. Agree interesting to see who's on this season's Rookie top crop since there are no generational players.

But hey if BB does play top 9 for Canucks he would be first Canuck rookie since Bure who has this much buzz for Calder.
