In the spirit of getting this blog back on track, ans because there is actually nothing going on in the hockey world right now, should boeser be in the pre season calder conversation. I can see nico/nolan/keller/boeser/sergachev being favorites going into the season

- Codes1087

Nico BB & Keller maybe. Don't see Sergachev in the NHL yet.
Nolan won't get enough of the quality ice time.

Haven't seen anything that indicates PLD is NHL ready or even close to cracking CLB roster. Agree interesting to see who's on this season's Rookie top crop since there are no generational players.

But hey if BB does play top 9 for Canucks he would be first Canuck rookie since Bure who has this much buzz for Calder.

Right but that was '88-89 before Bure's Calder win of 1991-1992.
So could BB be the next closest since then to get a run if he plays in top 9?

Nolan won't be playing this season, he'll have, in order: An ass pimple that's too painful to play on, sprained ankle, sore wrist, seperated shoulder, sore back, concussion, migraine, food poisoning, broken clavicle, flu and finally near the TDL he'll be out for 6 months with a groin tear. He'll probably play maybe 5 games in total if lucky.

Good day everyone,

Well I have decided enough is enough, it seems that there is a couple of individuals here that feel that they are being targeted, not only directly but indirectly also.

And I am being demanded to do something about this, so I did put out a post that requested 3 individuals to stop badgering each other, but it was also a notice for everyone.

That wasn't enough, so CaptEO was contacted, we have had a conversation and I have supplied some exchanges that I feel fall into the childish bracket.

Well today I have been contacted again and I have been demanded to had out a 2 week ban for childish behavior, but what I plan on doing is stepping back.

I have supplied CaptEO with 3 names that I feel will be good mods, maybe you will see a new mod soon, I'm not sure as EO is deliberating on the situation.

I never believed that grown men could act so childish and petty. I think posters should reflect on what they post, if you are going to make outrageous statements and claims, you should also take a little ribbing.

Have at it guys, enjoy the summer.

- Makita

Hence why I post her once every two weeks. Probably wont make a difference unfortunately.

Shut the (frank) up with your hockey talk. If you don't like the discussion then leave. Actually, just leave anyway.

Where the (frank) do you get off trying to tell people what they can and can't post?

This thread did fine without you. Actually, it did much better without you. Just ask one of the posters that hasn't been dragged into the cesspool you create on nearly a daily basis, if there are any left.

If you are so hell bent on improving the quality of talk in here, then remove yourself from it.

Is that too juicy of a topic for you I can save the throupling for later. Don't pout there is more when you put your big boy pants on.

How about all time series then. Must admit GOT is first with the plot lines and cinematography. But Vikings comes close. Then WestWorld came along and bumped Deadwood. It's okay will keep it above Walking Dead and Fear of the Walking Dead which is rising. But close behind are Breaking Bad and spin off Better Call Saul. But for relationship appeasement I will list newcomer Handmaids Tale to takedown Good Wife & Good Fight spin off. Though the last one might be your cup of tea and can keep it listed.

Does that get your wheels turning now oh and for the thought police Big Brother Gaunce will sign before Bo who will be Shameless to take one for the team. JB made Soprano offers so that Canuck contracts will be the Twin Peaks of envy.

So are you saying he is injury prone? Sounds a little like our pick...Patterson and his back issues.

It's pretty simple, if you don't like the content in here then you can leave, after you have PM'd a Mod to complain about it.

2017 Bummer of a Summer.

Fires, salmon closures, forest service road closures, fishing funds spent on truck and house repairs.

It's about to get a whole lot worse in the interior. My father has already been through his 2nd evac... now the forecast is looking like the sunny side of Mercury.

Re; Vietnam War

Check out the documentary "Dear America: Letters Home From Vietnam" and there was a PBS series that I watched in the '80's called "The 10,000 Day War".

Dude, dont, you're going to get captainEO involved.......

Besides, wasn't Guance the leading man in that movie? I'm thinking he's the early leader for an Oscar.

I don't know what you are trying to communicate here?
Some sorry sort of an attempt at intrepid writing perhaps?
Honestly it's just confusion, you'd be better of PMing a mod to complain then to try and make sense to the rest of us, except the 1 percent that finds your writing style north competent and legible.

Other then your posts, PMs, quotes and general content, you're a good poster.
