I saw it in the theatres in the late '80's, I think. I had no idea it was a documentary and was blown away. There were two young ladies behind who were just holding on to each other and balling at the end. Powerful movie.

I've been feeling bad for you this summer. We drove Hwy 97 last summer coming home from Terrace and loved every second of the drive. Our hearts go out to all of the kind folk affected by these wildfires. Donating everytime we go shopping.

you've probably seen both but i'll recommend the fog of war and last days in vietnam.

Just talked with Jordan Subban about his off-season, his goals to play for the #Canucks and the Del Zotto and Wiercioch signings.

Subban : "Just training, getting ready, shooting pucks. It's a big year for me."

Subban : " My big thing is improving in the dee zone. I have been watching lots of video of myself and Ryan Ellis, guys like that."

Subban : "Trying to find way to defend better against bigger guys. My intentions are not to be in Utica.

(1) Subban on Del Zotto & Wiercioch signings, "It doesn't change anything, my goal is the same. It's just more competition."

(2) Subban : "My goal is to make the team. From my exit meeting to now, I'm getting ready for camp."

The show I really dig is Vikings. New season begins 17/11/29 .

I think the first few seasons are on Netflix.

What is the appeal with this show? I tried watching it and fell asleep halfway through the first episode of season 1. It just didn't have that wow factor. Maybe I was expecting too much since I had just blazed through GOT and everyone kept saying Vikings is as good.
Does this get better then the first episode or is that what I should expect all throughout? is it a slow burner?

I hope if/when he does make it it's because of his vastly improved play not because it speaks volumes of how crappy our D is.

It gets much better. Ragnar Lothbrok is an excellent character.

Many shows take awhile to get going. I don't know too many that would say the first episode of Breaking Bad was riveting TV.

It's OK. It gets better after a few episodes. It's decent entertainment but not the best production.

didn't watch breaking bad either...I will give it another shot. maybe till the end of first season. A slightly different show that is also great is Billions. Paul Giamati and Damian Lewis is epic.

Yeah Irish too. I figure that's why it's lacking in a few areas.

I also don't understand why they made Rollo Ragnar's brother ? I guess history doesn't really know his origins and they just wanted to include him in the show. I think the show has exceeded expectations with it's success.
