From Camp Newell and Green will try out new looks for PP units to see how they work. Maybe they won't weigh a 1st or 2nd unit like starter to backup but two different kinds of PP units. Try different styles/strategies to give opposing PK's trouble in game plan to defend. Maybe following shows chemistry and given a try.

1) Danny - bottom circle to net slide in for tip in setting up or quick shot
2) Hank - half wall work the one timer, short pass, give and go and back door
3)Gagner - slot roamer between the circles for setting up and one timer
4)BB- RS circle to line drifter for one timer and back door finisher.
5)MDZ- puck carrier rusher to walking the line QB D. Plug in OJ if he makes roster and earns crack as better shooting less risky LS D.

Gives 4 experienced puck possession guys who have excelled on PP but new to each other with young blood sniper BB.

Second unit different look with battling type style and formation.

1&2)Bo and LE down low rotating circles to net front battling for tips and rebounds.
3)Granlund/Sven/Rodin roaming gopher to elusive release and puck mover. OR Boucher one time cannon half circle pivot.
4&5) Hutton on left and Stecher on right to rush up ice and get pucks quickly on net from a moving line that is changing angles.

Also, all of above personnel choices gives Sutter, Edler and Tanev break from PP time to concentrate energy and focus on better prepared PK.

Shockingly, Leafs fans are not the only trolls around here. Probably just as many trolls in the the Leafs threads from other teams.
- stonehead

Maybe so but engaging on the TOO MANY leafs threads gets bumhole replies.
Pointless to bother going there.

I would have to say no, they're still not in any position to compete for a playoff spot imo and you'll most likely see the late season tank again to improve draft odds.

Oh.....my daughter told me she's 10 weeks, gonna be a grandpa

Patience of a saint. Surprised it took this long. Bad day for the board....

For the majority of us anyway, but yes. A bad day.

Unrelated hockey news. Wife and i just bought a stroller. Middle of the pack one. And it cost us 1500$. Im new to this whole baby thing, but have they always criminally screwed over new parents with over inflated prices on all things baby? Was very shocked to pay that much.

Back to hockey. Bold prediction. Due to our AHL team lacking depth in the forward position, i see Pettersson completing his season with Vaxjo, signing his ELC after, and burning a year of his contract playing out the remaining games with the canucks.

15hun is a bit steep. I can't remember how much we paid 17 years ago. but there is nothing wrong with buying used or if you get stuff free from family/friends. It is all supposed to be csa approved and safe.

Don't fall victim to any guilt of, if you don't buy new then you are a bad parent. That is what someone else at the time told me. don't feel the pressure to spend spend spend. That stroller is important but kids can outgrow stuff pretty quick.

Theres no rush to get Petterson over here, not going to change the fortunes of the club at the end of a season where we are at the bottom of the standigns..

Yep but the resale will be like $1000. We bought one 7 years ago and sold it a couple months ago after being through 2 kids still got $650 for it.

Yeah, no reason to burn a year of ELC or $1500.

Its crazy though. Everything now has an expiry. Strollers, car seats, cribs. Bassinettes or prams need to be "sleep approved" to have babies sleep in it now. We bought used car seats for like 200 bucks each and they expire 2022. Reason you see so many on the side of the highway now is they expire and have zero resale value.

I also agree with you on Pettersson, but Benning has a history pf doing that and our foreard pipeline in utica is still awful

Save the 1500 and make the kid walk everywhere. They will thank you when they are 90 and strong as an ox

Like others said plus now could resell and invest in online sales of new(bought not used) or nearly new for the double stroller if you are going for 2nd round action switching to man to man defence.

On EP can see this as the development and marketing plan for end of season. Probably will want to sign in time to paper in for Comets to help in playoff qualifier though not sure timing will work. Most probably he plays less then 9 games doesn't burn year and gets taste of NA hockey to see where he is at.

It's a sad world where nothing you buy anymore lasts more than 5 years. That's the mentality so they can keep selling the same thing over and over. Instead of having a great item for 20 years you have to buy it 5 times over 25 years.

Quality is out there…but people just don't have the mentality to pay for it anymore.

I bought some protection thirty years ago that I still one day hope to use. It was made by the same good folks who made the Lada . It has instructions use with a lot of Vodka. Best before "Nyet"

ya man.
Buy used stuff.
Car seat is hard to skimp on, but for strollers, toys and cribs (jus get a new mattress), hit up that 2nd hand shop.
Kid will outgrow it in no time anyways.
The pressure to buy the best, safest, newest plastic poop is overwhelming at first.
It's a racket.
