Its crazy though. Everything now has an expiry. Strollers, car seats, cribs. Bassinettes or prams need to be "sleep approved" to have babies sleep in it now. We bought used car seats for like 200 bucks each and they expire 2022. Reason you see so many on the side of the highway now is they expire and have zero resale value.

Probably due to liability somewhat, but it mostly seems like some planned obsolescence that preys on first time parent's insecurities.

I remember the first time my wife and i walked into a baby store while pregnant, saw the prices and amount of poop you're expected to acquire. We literally did the Abe Simpson walk in, do a circle and walk out.

Unrelated hockey news. Wife and i just bought a stroller. Middle of the pack one. And it cost us 1500$. Im new to this whole baby thing, but have they always criminally screwed over new parents with over inflated prices on all things baby? Was very shocked to pay that much.

Back to hockey. Bold prediction. Due to our AHL team lacking depth in the forward position, i see Pettersson completing his season with Vaxjo, signing his ELC after, and burning a year of his contract playing out the remaining games with the canucks.

That's pretty heavy dough for a stroller. Half of that is pretty good quality. If you haven't a car seat yet I recommend a Britax Marathon.
