Never want to put stock into just a couple prospects. Hope he goes after Butcher. At least his agent said he didn't expect to play in the NHL this season. Wants long term, that's what JB is building for.

Yeah you could make hundreds of war movies based on fascinating events. I dig any story that has little to no "American factor" to it. I also loved this movie bcus the sound or lack-of played such a distinct role. It was terrifyingly loud to the point that it stressed me out as a viewer, I can't imagine how the real soldiers felt. I actually read that some vets in the news recently said "the volume in the movie theatre was louder than real life!!" I also dug the faceless villain, not once did you see an actually German.

The German Stuka dive bomber plane had a loud siren attached to scare people. At Dunkirk it corralled the British Expeditionary force and made the urgency to leave even more desperate while crushing spirits. The Stuka was tested out in the Spanish civil war to great effect with strafe attacks after unleashing payload. In other invaded countries people always talked about the sound it was more terrifying then the explosions.

She ended up giving birth 6-7 weeks early and spent a month or so at the hospital. All is good now, kids on the smaller side for a 3-month old, but his dad's side is all over 6'5 so we'll make an NHLer out of him soon enough

Agree, I think they will kick the tires on the college kids but they are on the older side of prospects and probably fit a team tight to the cap. No loss if they dont show up and low expectations if they do. Caggiula didnt exactly light the league on fire last year...

JB will try I am sure. When several teams are interested there is no contract issue on ELC the max is usually on the table. What it will come down to is which team does the player like and what route they think is best. Contenders like Hawks or Pens have depleted prospect pools and older players on cap crunched rosters that need ELC relief players. They can offer an NHL shot to succeed right off the bat if they can make the cut. With rebuild teams like the Canucks it's come here succeed later. Like opportunity to be part of new core group long term.

Well I have decided enough is enough, it seems that there is a couple of individuals here that feel that they are being targeted, not only directly but indirectly also.

And I am being demanded to do something about this, so I did put out a post that requested 3 individuals to stop badgering each other, but it was also a notice for everyone.

That wasn't enough, so CaptEO was contacted, we have had a conversation and I have supplied some exchanges that I feel fall into the childish bracket.

Well today I have been contacted again and I have been demanded to had out a 2 week ban for childish behavior, but what I plan on doing is stepping back.

I have supplied CaptEO with 3 names that I feel will be good mods, maybe you will see a new mod soon, I'm not sure as EO is deliberating on the situation.

I never believed that grown men could act so childish and petty. I think posters should reflect on what they post, if you are going to make outrageous statements and claims, you should also take a little ribbing.

I'm gonna take it upon myself to start modding you guys before I get my official privelidges. I've always felt you gotta show some initiative to get what you want.

So, I'm gonna ban you guys from time to time. It will still let you post, I just expect that obey me anyway.
