First of yes, fruit is sugar. Jesus Christ. Did you not pay attention in every science class you ever took in school?

There's no reason for a healthy guy in his 20's to get blood work every 2 weeks. None at all. Maybe once a year, if some levels are a bit off, but even that's pushing it.

Sugar is sugar, calories are calories. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you intake. I saw a story where all a guy eats 10 Big Macs a week. He's done it for 30 years. He's in his 50's, he's not overweight, his cholesterol is totally normal.

Calorically speaking, which is what I was talking about. They are the exact same.

Fructose literally means "fruit sugar".

Again, because I feel like this isn't getting through. Nowhere am I saying that fruit isn't good for you. But calories are calories, and if you eat too many without burning them off, it doesn't matter from what source, you will gain fat.

Edit: Corn is also a fruit. So fructose from corn syrup is coming from fruit.

Double edit: Corn is also a vegetable and a grain as well as being a fruit. Pretty amazing plant, eh?
