That entire last paragraph screams unhealthy. Gaining and losing weight like that is terrible.
- SabresFaninIndiana

Yeah it's very dangerous and unhealthy but that's the only way you get acting gigs

Drinking diet soda makes you gain weight it's a know fact 😉

Detoxing is not starving yourself if your just eating all the fruits and vegetables you want

how is that starving yourself for 4-5 days

If you're doing a water detoxing yes it's extremely dangerous but celebrities do it all the time you drop an easy 40 lb in 25 days it's like a routine thing for being an actor you gain a bunch of weight you lose it how do you think they do it so fast?

- gerbe75pts

It all depends on if you are looking to cut weight fast, in an unsustainable way, or looking to get healthier.

Any diet that allows you to lose a high % of weight in a short period of time is almost always unsustainable and unhealthy.

If you need to lose say 20 lb's. You are better off coming up with a 90 day diet plan and slowly changing your eating habits.

I did low-carbs and dropped 20 pounds within a month, and gained it right back as soon as I slacked.

Also, after you lose a bunch of weight at first, in a short period of time, it slows way down, and a pound a week is considered a lot.

Yeah. I plateaud (sp?) at 20lbs doing low carbs and after a week or so of losing nothing I gained it right back in a few months.

I'm never going to be 100% strict, because I just don't want to, and I love good food.

But, I am cutting out soda, eating late, not eating breakfast and doing about 50% of my normal bread intake.

Lost 3 pounds this past week, my first week trying to be healthy again

A lot of my friends have trouble with this I just stay away from carbs completely and find different options like banana pancakes, cabbage tacos (lol) , cauliflower dough , cauliflower mashed potatoes etc it's the Cravings that get you lol

I try to stay away from carbs altogether for my workouts

Me I just do detoxes to clean out my system of all the garbage I ate so I can start new not to lose weight

But your post is right

Yeah that's pretty normal usually in that case you should do a three-day detox to start your system over again or do a different workout routine because your body is so used to the old stuff

Or you can try things this speed up your metabolism by drinking black coffee or hot sauce with your vegetables and food

But bro you really should eat breakfast that's the most important meal that starts your system up
Just have a bowl of fruit or Watermelon

Pach, do you think C.J. Smith has a chance of making the roster instead of Bailey or Baptiste? I have zero recollection of him playing 2 games last year; i must have checked out. His college stats are good
- jcragcrumple

Super doubtful
Right now, he's behind...
Bailey, Baptiste, Rodrigues, Fasching & Nylander

The only way I see it happening is if it's a derrick grant situation
Where if the above mentioned guys aren't ready for "top9" duty,
then maybe they have Smith (or Porter, Griffith, etc) making the roster as strictly a 4th line guy

C.J. and Bailey have the upperhand for that 2LW spot being that they shoot left. (i'm really high on the 3rd line of Pouliot-Larsson-Pominville)

Baptiste has the highest goal scoring potential, but he's a RW. I still don't see how this shakes out yet. I've heard that Okposo has played some LW, but i don't think you mess with his spot.

- jcragcrumple

Bailey shoots RH and has been a RW up until last year
Baptiste actually played some LW in Juniors,
most notably when he was on a line with McDavid

Idk if there's really much difference between guys switching Wings,
other than whether or not they're comfortable doing so

I can see the East being: Pittsburgh, Columbus, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Washington, in that order next season as far as playoffs are concerned.

Montreal, Ottawa, Boston, I'm predicting to all miss the playoffs. And not because I'm a homer and they're our division rivals, but because Ottawa's goaltending is a question mark (They have like 6 goalies and Craig Anderson is not getting younger), Montreal are nothing if Carey Price misses any amount of games and Boston are on the downswing.

Florida could be a surprise, Buffalo can push for 8th with all of our moves this off-season (I'm gonna be honest, I thought we were a sure lock to miss the playoffs but I've loved our moves this off-season), Detroit could be a lot better but I see Philly and New Jersey as the bottom teams in the East. Philly's window is about to slam shut and they'd be better off trading one of Giroux, Vorachek or Simmonds. IMO.

U think the Caps will be worse than NYR, NYI and Carolina?
I can't see that at all
Maybe they drop off a little & one of those teams slightly overtakes them...
but I doubt it

And don't u only have 2 teams from our division making it?
That's not even possible
Gotta have at least 3

Too bad Nash is a RWer
- Stripes77

Plays both
I thought he'd be an option leading up to the expansion draft,
but NyR made moves & decided to keep him over Stephan

Weird considering the age difference
Maybe they couldn't get a decent return for Nash bc of his cap#

The Caps would have to have everything go wrong for them (kinda like Tampa last year) to take a big enough step back that they'd miss the playoffs

Although as long as Holtby stays healthy,
they should be fine

If why he doesn't get more credit?

Them listing Kasdorf as one of our top prospects just goes to show they have ZERO knowledge about our prospects
He was so bad in net that he was sent to the ECHL,
and played poorly there

So I wouldn't take that list too seriously

There's no way in hell I could do low carbs.

Seriously, I could eat (good)bread as an entire meal and be totally fine with it.
