Nuck4U & Dragon went behind Makita's back to complain about him for not 'disciplining posters for direct & indirect attacks'. Makita quit. - Marwood
I saw that, and it's a shame, the guy is a really good person! He has more patience than I would that's for sure. I didn't know what happened though. |

Respectfully Nucker left of his own accord and it had just as much to do with his obsessive whining about Benning as it was about some of the posters badgering him. It takes two to tango.
The pack mentality always exists in these kind of blogs can't get around it. The Vets always think they run the show and the newbies are sometimes never really welcomed in. It is what it is. But for the most part this is still a fantastic group of passionate posters here and if we all take a little bit of a collective step back, look in the mirror for 10 seconds sometimes before we post all should be good.
I have total faith that the majority of posters in here will be just fine in the future. There are always going to be heated arguments...we just need to be big enough to get past it all. - LordHumungous

Ever heard of earning your ice time? Why would Willie give him more than 10 minutes ice time when he didn't score in 77 games and he is a p$ssy?
Edit: Gaunce is the future - CanuckDon
I thought you were talking about your expectations for him and disappointment that he didn't hit. Of course gaunce needs to earn his ice time, which he did. I'm not abdictating that he deserves more ice time but can't understand how you and others get so hung up on him not scoring 7-8 goals. Very few 4th liners do. |

well i'm genuinely disappointed.
on the bright side, no season long debate whether he should have been on the team because he looked so fantastic in that one intra-squad scrimmage. |

Dorsett averages 7.4 goals per 82 over his 4th line career. Shouldn't Gaunce provide more offense? 7-8 is just a random total I used. If he scored 4-5 goals and provided some physicality I wouldn't be hard on him. But he is soft as frank
edit. Just kidding, Gaunce is the future. |

It's because his agent wants more generational talents signed so they have a clearer understanding of his value. Mcdavid has signed but they are curious as to what Eichel and Matthews will be signed for. |

He left because everyone was riding his ass about his opinions, right or wrong, that's the point. I didn't see a ref coming to his aid. Now everyone is riding certain individuals asses for their opinions and it's not allowed anymore....why the new standards?
Why is everyone, including Makita, acting like this hasn't happened before?
Edit: I'm not saying just because it happened in the past it's ok, I'm just saying it's par for the course in terms of historical data around here. - LeftCoaster
It's funny that Nucker jumping on the Flames bandwagon while we were being ass kicked by the Flames in the playoffs blew up in his face. That was very ill accepted by heart broken Canucks fans here and really set the tone for how he was kicked around. When it came down to his opinions... they were just like many others in here who didn't get "chased out" for sticking to them to this very day.
