Dorsett averages 7.4 goals per 82 over his 4th line career. Shouldn't Gaunce provide more offense? 7-8 is just a random total I used. If he scored 4-5 goals and provided some physicality I wouldn't be hard on him. But he is soft as frank

How do you define a 4th liner? Dorsett also averaged ~ 3 min more per game over his career.

Once again Gaunce led the Canucks in hits last year.... Is that his calling card? No but ignoring that he was one of more physically engaged forwards makes your argument pretty irrelevant.

I think by the time Gaunce has played as many games as Dorsett, his average goals per 82 will be more impressive than it is now as well. You do realize he was a rookie last year right?

I think I am being a bit selfish.

Just not wanting to see him take a beating from bigger players.

I guess he'll be okay with the Canucks, put Gaunce on his wing so he can play the Semenko role.
