Does the Lord of the Rings trilogy really need extended editions?

I mean we're talking about turning 3 hour movies into 4 hour movies.

I don't think it's unreasonable. I think the problem is people went above Makita.

I learned to adapt to things around here. I listened to Makita's plea to ignore posts I didnt like, etc. out of respect for a guy doing a thankless job. Some ignored his comments, and some made his time on these boards suffer. It isn't only 2 that made that happen, but sending relentless numbers of PM to the point where he pleads in threads for it to stop is why I will make a few jokes at certain people's expense.

Makita is a good guy, he's been the mod for a long time and dealt with many problems on the blog's behalf. The situation is a shame

MODs if you don't like what we want to talk about you can always lock the thread.

The big problem is that it's no small number of posters opposed to the one in particular, it's just about everybody including a couple that might feign innocence.

I can go a month without saying anything but there's always someone else there to pick up the slack because the one particular poster goes out of his way to taunt and annoy the others.

Whatever, I have a feeling there will be a conclusion to this soon enough.

Gentlemen, I urge you guys to stop with the gang up mentality that is going on in here today.

I posted that I had reached my limit to trying to be a moderator with the type of antics that are going on, and here it's happening tenfold.

Everyone has the right to post their opinions, not everyone will agree with said opinions, and if they feel that they're are being unfairly maligned and not getting fair treatment, they have every right to seek higher support.

I try to be extremely fair, not everyone will like my form of justice, and I will not respond favourably to people making demands of me, but that's me and that's how I roll.

I am a volunteer, I agreed to moderate because of the trolling from the other fan bases. Never did I think that this group in here would be so immature that I would tire of moderating my own fan base.

Carol is the best damn blogger on this site and the majority in here are being extremely disrespectful to her efforts, you are being disrespectful to each other, and to yourselves over all.

You guys like Carol and if you truly like me and want to support both, then I'm asking that you all stop with the childish antics...please.

I just need a bit of a vacation from you guys...thanks for understanding.

After taking a 15 day break from commenting on here, up until yesterday, I have decided to change my ways in which I make comments.
1 I will be as incoherent as possible but for those that question for clarification I will call you an idiot, but using kind words.
2 I will control the conversation on here while I am on the site and if things go off the rails and a mod says anything I will blame it all on the other posters, by claiming I am here for hockey talk.
3 I will make repeated stupid comments about something somehow being related to Trump.
4 When someone disagrees with my posts I will berate and try belittle that person with super large words that ordinary laymen do not understand.
5 I will speak in partial sentences over and over again during my continual essay writing in the comments section.
6 I will piss off all of you at least once but probably always.
7 I will refuse to admit that anything is my fault.
8 I will disrespect long time posters and never apologize
9 I will be confrontational at times...OK always.
10 I will PM all of you at least once, complaining that certain posters are ganging up on me.
11 I will irritate the poop out of all of you except the 1 person who will be my only ally.(any takers welcome.
12 I will continual complain to the moderator.
13 I will be a RAT, SNITCH,FINK and a POS if the mod picks someone's side other than mine. Ek will have to get involved.

14 I will post and delete and repost if posters refuse to comment on my babbling incoherent usually off topic posts.

That highlight package of Pettersson was great. He didn't put up points but it's nice to watch one of our prospect be able to puck handle and play make.

First since Godson IMO.

Hey Buddy. You were a great mod. I would rather we get rid of poopty posters than lose good people. Don't quit.

I'm excited about Pettersson as well, he's exactly what they needed in a skilled centerman at this point in the rebuild. I'm positive he's gonna be one of the best centers taken out of his draft class.

There's definitely a few nice pieces in the system now!

for sure! if there was one thing I noticed in that highlight package(thanks Carol, that was a nice touch!), it's that he has a great stick defensively. I can see where the datsyuk comparisons come in with his stick and edge work, really high end and lots to be excited about there.
