- Bring him up and put him with ROR and Okposo, watch how quickly he adapts.
-Slowly switch him with Kane on the Eichel Reinhart line
-Move your butt(a$$) to the edge of your seat, and watch the beauty of creativity and speed blend together.
- Don't hesitate to ask for extra butter with your popcorn - washedup20
I'm cool with all that... when he's "ready"
Seems like Jbotts feels the same way though, so I'm not worried
I like how he used Guentzel as an example...
saying he wasn't ready at the start of the season, but by December he was
Rushing prospects doesn't make sense to me
Usually does more harm than good

Here's the situation:
I've had about 4,000 calories to eat today so far. 5 big macs and some fries and a gallon of Coke. I did about 4 tire flips, so that's about 1,500 calories burned.
I can just eat a pound of strawberries and it's totally fine right? I'll just piss out the extra calories. - Wetbandit1
What ??? I never said that lol ...
I was talking about just fruit lol
You said you will get fat if you over eat on fruit I said that's not true |

I'll admit I was firmly on that train (locomotive?) During his first full year in Buf. The dude went HARD to the net and showed decent finish. The past two years he has just fallen down a lot and hasn't shown any of that tenacity. Maybe it was a system thing, but I think he's washed up - jcragcrumple
Girgensons reportedly had trouble understanding Bylsma's system
Kinda difficult to "go hard to the net" when u aren't sure where you're supposed to be
U hear players (all the time) mention confidence in coorelation with how they're playing

agreed
look at Mikko Rantanen
drafted 10th overall
fist year, 9 game taste in nhl and goes to ahl for the year
year 2, produces in nhl 39 points in 75 games
year 3, I expect him to be a 50-60 point player and much better in his own end, due to nhl coaching - homiedclown
You guys are crazy why do you want to rush nylander when we don't need to ? |

The only way I see him having offensive success this year is on Jack's wing. It's not a great idea, but I think I remember their underlying numbers together weren't bad. If he's on the 4th line with Moulson, he's gonna have the same year as last year. I still see Larsson as 3c with Pommer and Pouliot so idk where else he fits.
Maybe
Kane-ror-okposo
Pouliot-eichel-reino
Girgs-larsson-pommer
Moulson-josefson-Baptiste

Well Kane is one top6 LW
Does Pouliot play in the top6 as well, or 3rd line?
If he's on the 3rd line,
then it open up a slot on either Jack's wing, or ROR's
If one of the kids doesn't earn it...
I'm ok giving Girgs a shot
Either he's successful & that ups his trade value
Or he's just decent,
in which case he's a placeholder till Nylander (or whoever) passes him
Or he's just not up to it at all,
which means it wasn't just Bylsma & he's for sure a bottom6 guy
Since we have an open slot...
might as well find out? |

I think Pouliot is best suited for that 3rd line, but that requires either girgs, nylander or Bailey playing 2LW because those are the only remaining options (Moulson just cannot handle that). The only other scenario would be switching Okposo to LW to make
Kane-ROR-Reino
Okposo-Eichel-Baptiste
Pouliot-Larsson-Pominville
Moulson-Girgs-Bailey/Erod

I really hope we see Reinhart back at center at some point
I think he could do quite well at 3C
-his natural position
-against lesser talent
-allow him to use his playmaking skills more
I'm a proponent of building down the middle
And having 3 "scoring" lines
I know we don't have all the wingers yet to pull this off well, but...
Okposo
Kane (if we re-sign him)
-that's 2
Nylander
Mittelstadt
-I'll assume they both live up to expectations
That means we'd only need 2 other guys to work out & fit somewhere
Bailey, Baptiste, Fasching & Rodrigues...
if 2 of them work out, we are set
And we still have other guys coming
Pu & Asplund, most notably
I think we could have a very dangerous top9 in a few years
Maybe as soon as '18-'19 |

Baptiste could be a LW option as well
He hasn't played there a lot,
but did so at a high level on McDavid's wing in Juniors
(Although it was only for the 2nd half of 1 season & the playoffs, I believe) |

What you propose defies the law of conservation of energy. You're not a god. You can neither create nor destroy energy. Yet, your pissing out of calories does just that. Your body expends energy digesting that fruit, but magically you can piss out all the calories? |

So what your telling me is that a Coke " calories" and " sugar " has nothing to do with fruit
Just like eating fruit and pissing it out
And I am god |
