It will be a 2 year deal. He was looking 2 or 3 year at 3m, Avs were looking 2 year just over 2m.

I think they sign a 2year 2.5m deal. The KHL and Eurolanche guys are all reporting that Zads informed his KHL team that he wont be signing with them

Tough to justify a long term deal of over 3m for a guy who hasnt scored a goal in Colorado yet.

I would love for them to take that gamble but Zads probably will be better served doing the bridge, building off his good season last year and get a bigger contract down the line
