I wouldn't call 7,000 troops in 5 countries "amassing" and the only reason those troops are there is because of what the Russians did in Ukraine, maybe if there was some NATO troops in Ukraine they would still have Crimea. NATO is the push back.

Perhaps specifically in the Baltic states but keep in mind, the U.S (as of 2011) still has upwards of fifty three thousand combat personnel in Germany alone, not to mention another ten plus thousand in Italy.

Trade whichever one gets you more, in fact trade them both. They have been nice stories but unless they improve dramatically, they are more use to us as trade bait then on the roster in 3 years when we are improved.

I think Granlund especially is attractive scoring 19 and making 900 K, he's a contenders dream.

Sven played a 1:20 less per game. Did score at a better rate. PPP were 8-7 for Granny.

Sven threw more hits and blocked more shots. Giveaways/ Takeaways they were even.

Granny was much much much better in the shots for/against.

Yeah you have good points there on Granlund which lends to his versatility. The belief is that Sven is the higher level offensive player. But as the prospects come along and talent gets better Sven's top 6 LW role will fade. But Granlund probably proves more valuable because of what you said give his ability to play on any line or any forward position.

Sure and chemistry plays a role too. So far haven't seen any one player stand out. There have been flashes by some.

Early return so far as lines or chemistry was Middlestadt, Yamamoto and Brown who clicked. EP and Andersson are kind of trying to gel. Not sure about Fins and Canada lines so far.

Having been a fan of Glass he's been awfully quiet compared to the players picked around him. Not that he's a flashy player just no impact of any kind that I could see. What about you?
