One of our problems last year was scoring not one player could get a perfect easy goal from Jack they would always miss the pass or shoot it right at the goaltender

Yet we were still around top10 in scoring with Jack in the lineup
If we can maintain that level for the season,
We will be just fine as far as scoring goes

I think all the talk of Mittelstadt needing to be "physically ready" is a little over blown. If he is skilled enough he will be fine. Look at players like Mitch Marner, William Nylander ect. They are doing just fine. You either have it or you dont sometimes. I think Mittelstadt will be ready after this year similar to Keller

If you're looking at the draft for his help I would assume Mittlestadt would be that guy. Has the speed and scoring ability.

As far as on this roster, it's Sam and then who else. could be Kane, or it could be a free agent. That's why I advocated for Vanek since he is great at tapping in goals, although doesn't have the speed for the rushes.

Yes but there's a difference when both of those players have Endurance and can handle 20 minutes a night without being tired that's why he needs to get physically ready for the season

That's how you know the NHL is back to the good old days where you couldn't score we could barely score last year the only one that was putting up points for us was Jack eichel lol

it's not like Kane & Reinhart suck
Rodrigues did well with him in college
Baptiste was good enough to play with McJesus in Juniors
Okposo was good enough to play with Tavares

It's not like Jack is gonna be stuck with Girgs & Foligno
The current options aren't that bad
