Yeah you can. Hell the Devils made it to the cup finals with a junk team. Happens all the time. All you need is a group of guys to get hot at the right time. They were the only team to make the playoffs last year that had more goals against than goals for, and now they lost Methot for nothing.

Goalies go to die In Philly, The Islanders are a mess, New Jersey isn't going to be ready and Detroit well they're in for a long rebuild.

I do think the last seed will ultimately be Toronto or Columbus.

I really like Carolina's blue line but I don't trust Darling yet and the forwards are very young (plus truth be told I hate the style they play).

Buffalo will contend for a spot the following year, new coaches, new system and a very new top 4 is too much change in one offseason, but Jack Eichel alone can make it happen (he gets no respect but he will be a 75 point plus player next year)
