Veleno kind of reminds me of a JT type with more speed.

Serron Noel don't know sounds intriguing with size and skill.

Still for D will just say: #DialingItIn4Dahlin

My turn. Read entire post as u so like to remind others.
Show me where free agent is stated. U chose 3 words.

like when you glossed over the post that you are responding to now. You said to void the contracts. Under the CBA that would make them free agents.

Your original post used these words:

'Breach of contract. Nul & void'

Now you think maybe their teams can renegotiate with them. Well perhaps but they wouldn't hold their rights. Teams that void contracts under the allowable clauses can't hold the player's rights as well.

So back to you would love that to happen

You're thinking those rosters from summer tournaments will add some draft eligible guys? Like players having more impact with expanded roles on their teams?

Isn't the WJC known as a tournament for 19 year olds? You think a player like Veleno has a shot to get picked having not received an invite?

It's still #DialingItIn4Dahlin and #StickingIt4Svechnikov

Conversing with u is pointless.
Upholding my earlier post to refrain from engaging with u permanently.

Why get frustrated on a point against my scenario? So what if it results in an outcome you didn't foresee.

Yes you didn't say free agent. But your suggestion on voiding of contracts would create that.

Anyway doesnt matter just found it funny if NHL stars revolt on Bettmann.

Brisbois should be higher.

He is a really solid prospect.
Last player cut from team Canada.
Nominated for QMJHL D-man of the year (Lost to Chabot)

If I was the owner and the team had a 73 million dollar cap hit (after everyone is signed) to finish at the bottom of the league, I'd seriously be questioning my General Manager for answers!!

I give it two low finishes and they will be back in the playoffs.

Longer....you usually don't got from a low finish directly to the playoffs. The kids they just drafted the past two years are four to five years away from being any good imo.

May want to tell that to Columbus, Edmonton, Toronto, Calgary.

Players just drafted are 4-5 years away from being elite superstars. Only need them to be "good"

Yeah its hard to project how long it'll take and how much of an impact we'll need the younger guys like Petter, Dahlen, OJ, Gaudette, Lind to make.

I'm hoping guys like Bo, Sven, Gran, Gagner, Boeser, Goblin, Stetcher, Hutton, will make advances and be good enough to get us there without relying so much on the younger guys.

in the words of Brennan Huff, "Its a waiting game...."

Not even remotely the same as Van's situation, unless we draft a McDavid or Matthews of course....which could happen.

I don't see a lot of highend talent you need to compete for a PO spot other than Pettersson and perhaps Boeser, they need a lot more than that.

That's what i'm talking about, these players are the stable and the younger newly drafted players will aid them. May not have a long playoff run but that will be the season after.

Okay well in the next couple of drafts there projects to be some real elite ready players.

Desperately need another top center and a number one dman or at the very least a top pairing dman. As I said, the Canucks have some nice prospects, but they're still lacking in the highend skill department.

Kids/skaters in terms of pure skill...you need top end players to win.

Pettersson

-------------------------------------------------------

Boeser (goal scoring)

Everyone else

Demko could be a wildcard factor among it all if his projection and progression continue. In general sense I agree with you though, I think 2 years before an ascent begins, but I dont know how far from there until a playoff after that, but another 2 bottom 5 finishes will get that talent that is still lacking IMO
