That sounds fun. I'm in NS this week and it's already 10:30 and pissing down with rain. Miserable day, cold and wet.
- bloatedmosquito

this is the first year that I put up a little awning thing that I found in the house when we bought it in 2003. 8x8 with all those plastic tubes you have to assemble. very chill, I have almost been hoping for some rain so I can sit under it with a drink.

I wish I had put it up sooner.

too bad about the weather, all of BC could use some rain. and back east could use a little better weather. fecked up world.

Is it dusk where you are? That's what it seems like here.

Take it from someone that's been in both Places. Kelowna is paradise compared to Van.

Need to build through the draft, not free-agency. Benning can and did sign stop-gap free agents. Once we have some nice talent accumulated and playing at nhl, then we should fill in with needed free agents.

It's worse on the south end of the lake, but it's still not that bad. A little hazy.

Did we accomplish anything today, or are we still rebuilding?

Kelowna in the summer is the last place you'd want to be.

Just reading about Crosby turning 30 and his place in history, it's hard to believe he has more Stanley Cups than Mario Lemieux considering how good those early 90's Penguins teams were and the fact that Mario was arguably the greatest player to ever play the game.

Yeah I brought up Jack with Manvanfan after talking about his brother who's up for 2018 draft as a top scoring D. He wasn't impressed with either of them. Don't know if their dad who is Leaf player director helped add to hype.
- Nuck4U

I didn't say that. Quinton Hughes at 5'8" doesn't make me jump for joy. Jack on the other hands looks good. A forward who is already 2 inches taller.

Bobby Orr also only won 2 cups and is also arguably the greatest player to ever play the game.

True....and their number of games played is somewhat similar as well, Orr only played 657 NHL games, Crosby's played 782 to date.

Some writers calling for a huge decline from Washington, not sure I agree with that, although I think you'll see a "slight" decline. Still very strong up the middle with Backstrom and Kuznetsov, and then there's that Ovechkin guy and Holtby in net.

You could argue that Mario was the greatest... but you would be wrong.

Never been a Crosby fan, but would've sure liked him on our team.

I am sure that when you go to the Devils blog they will be happy to hear how good of a goalie you think Schneider is.

Orr only played nine (full) years in the league and he won eight Norris Trophies, Jesus, plus he won the Hart twice and the Conn Smythe twice....the guy was incredible.

Tow Art Ross Trophies and a Calder can be thrown in there as well

You know Gretzky only won the Conn Smythe twice, I thought it would have been more?

Owning a Stanley Cop winning team makes me think he doesn't give a (frank).
