Pettersson and Mittelstadt will turn out to be the best players from the 2017 draft, that's something to be excited about because we got one of em!

They were my top two despite the NHL readiness of Nolan and Nicko or hype of Glass and Vilardi.
I'd say EP will be developing a lot faster then expected. He's been playing above junior level and now a year with top Swedish league team should be equivalent to AHL+ experience. Will be interesting. |

We should drop our AHL team and just get all our prospects to join the SEL as it is such a highly touted developmental league. Then we don't need to send our players back to Juniors and we can maybe read about them in the Swedish sports section and they get a chance to learn to speak Swedish and they may get to rub noses with our future Swedish stars.
