And they aren't better than about 18 or so guys who were drafted more than 5 years ago

Well obviously I think Sam at 3C is a great idea
But we do have room in the top9 right now
Nylander is no sure thing to make the team
But IF he does...

Sam to 3C, bump down Pouliot

If we are making Nylander outplay Pouliot to make the roster & get playing time, then that's better to currently just needing him to outplay Girgensons or Moulson for that top9 slot

Also...
it's just as likely Nylander isn't "ready" and needs to at least start the season in Rochester
