I have Boeser pencilled in for close to 20…if utilized properly that is.

He'll need to be on the PP without the Sedins and especially Edler if he expects to get passes in the go zone.

I hope to see the Sedins ATOI reduced, they lead all forwards last year with Eriksson and Sutter rounding out the top four.

I was just sayin if we pick high next year it'd be wise to let them soak for another year because it serves no immediate purpose.

The Wild have Parise Nino Granlund Foligno Coyle Stewart Staal

We had Sedin Sedin Megna Chaput Eriksson.

There is a big difference in Entertainment value

Agree but development is WAY more important than entertainment value.

Henrik said in a recent interview injuries were an issue, to which I somewhat agree, however, the biggest problem was a pure and simple lack of talent. When Henrik has the highest average ice-time followed by Eriksson, Brandon Sutter and then Daniel you have issues.

That is why we have to get this stupid notion of bringing back the Sedins and using that 14 mil to bring in top line players so we don't have to be bored out of our mind with 2 has beens

So extending them does nothing to change the lack of talent, yet finding two new faces might.

Not sure who's available next year as UFA's but that's always an option providing those players want to play for a terrible rebuilding team?

Agree I don't want them re-signed either…but I think we should expect it will happen. At least for one season.

Lucic and other UFAs looked at Canucks 2 years ago and said hell no. Keeping the same players will bring the same results.

If Canucks keep taking the slow boat to China route with the rebuild no one will come here.

If players see opportunity like Carolina this year or Florida two years ago they will come.

It is a shame that people don't understand that the thing that they think is saving this club is actually suffocating it.

Goldobin has already spent two years in the AHL and could easily score 15 goals like Daniel last year playing on a third line making a lot less money .He can't though because we are too busy honoring Danny boy and using up a roster spot so we can finish bottom 3

It will be interesting to see if Green has the balls to drop the Sedins to 2nd and 3rd line minutes if they are under performing. We just need to stop catering to and pampering them…then a lot of these kids we are trying to develop can shift away from the Country Club.

Goldobin has scored at a pace 20-25 goals per year in NHL and AHL . It is not like we can use the scoring or anything

Could be, and would be smart to do it. The question I have, do JB and TL have the balls to ask them to waive? But maybe it will be the Sedins that request it for the teams sake.

Star players aren't looking for opportunity, they already have that, they're looking to win. Something they won't get in Vancouver so I seriously doubt they'd come. Kids, old players past their prime and scrubs are looking for opportunity.

A guy like Kane who has a reputation still even though stuck to business all last year would be ideal here. A top center could be got in a Tanev trade.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

NHL Prospect Watch: Dennis Bernstein was on TSN 690 and said that he thinks the chances of the Canucks trading Henrik and Daniel Sedin at the trade deadline are greater than 50 percent.
