I don't know why people see Tkachuk as a center let alone a top line center. He's played a lot as a powerforward and likely only that at the NHL level.

On the other hand when EP grows into his body he's much more suited to be a top line center.

Its pretty crazy that over 30 guys exercised that right yesterday. I mean most were 3rd round and after picks but still its becoming an trend. I didnt see a list like that floating around last year, I wonder how many there were and how many actually got signed. The ratio is probably pretty low.
