Zack McEwen isnt on it, does anyone else find that weird? I've been following this kid for a few years, he's a monster. Size, speed, sick hands, vicious shot, two way game. To be honest in the prospects game he impressed me as much as Petterson and Gaudette. I seriously think this kid is gonna be a surprisingly excellent player. Great signing by JB.

Its impossible to really gauge the list of free agents CHL'ers if they haven't had "spotlight" success in either CHL or Memorial cup playoffs. Chatfield was insanely boosted in the rankings with all his success at the memorial cup. Molino hasn't really made many rankings, or is ever mentioned, because he only played a few games for the Canucks. I would expect all Canucks Prospect Rankings to be vastly different come Jan/Feb next year.

it honestly also makes you wonder, how many of these players opt to actually go to free agency, or how many of these players that teams just don't feel the need to re-sign.

Saw a Tweet Earlier, saying that the if history has any part of it, Pastrnak could very much be dealt soon.

Kerfoot would have to get 2 year deal based on his age, Canucks currently have 45 contracts for this season and 22 for next (46 & 23 with Bo).

I argued to not waste contracts on AHL fodder earlier, but I think his time in college is more valuable than a CHL overager. I dont know his playing style, but could be a decent call up option or at least bring some offensive talent for prospects to play with in Utica

You're lucky it said Utica at the end and not Vancouver otherwise I would have been the first one to flag the new Ref.
