Need I remind you LE had great numbers on the Bruins too. Though if Bruins were willing to take LE back with Sutter or Edler then that's a good trade.

Its reported Boston doesnt want to give him more then Marchand, apparently he turned down 6 mill, after signing Horvat van wouldnt have cap to take on Pastrnak unless we sent over a contract like Edler or Ericksson. Id do it though for Edler and next years first and second

You're talking 2019 draft well Canucks could be in bubble status that season if prospects develop plus etc go well. But if they miss the cut which is likely then any ticket to the lotto is worth a lot more. Plus giving that 1st up with Edler and LE is high. This all for a player who had a good run with defensively sound Bruins team short on his offensive talent.

Plus many people had LE ranked very high talent wise before dive here on Canucks. Other then being younger I don't see a huge difference in talent with Pasternak the better offensive player.

So in a trade don't pay with BB, LE 1st rounders to get Pasternak. If they are willing to take LE plus plus... minus any top prospect or 1st then okay do the deal.

I think we will draft around 5 th next year so I don't have a problem taking the 70 pt player over over a Juolevi Jv or Pettersson
