No. Boston has options. Canucks are not one of them. - Nuck4U
How do you know that Boston are not willing to take a top 10 pick in a strong draft? Who is your source? |

Sure Boston would love a good ticket to the lotto. Canucks shouldn't be giving that up for Pasternak.
Plus they don't have a glaring need for skilled winger over other areas like Center, D and power forward. They also have some similar type players/prospects that could produce at that level given the right support and opportunity. |

Hank did say we will compete for the playoffs
It is like Lefty said His bird in hand is worth two in her bush. Canucks could be drafting 7 to 10 next year - VANTEL
And we'd be no better off then we are today, we'd essentially be replacing Horvat with Pasternak. For SURE Boston would insist on at the very least Bo as the centerpiece coming back and probably one of Juolevi and/or Boeser and a high draft pick. We just don't have the depth yet to make that sort of move and it's essentially lateral at this point. Pasternak isn't going to make us significantly better or better enough to pay the price for him. Not to mention the money he'll command. |

You are making things up as you go along . Bo Pettersson Gaudette Sutter Burmistrov Gagner . Who are our proven wingers? |

I never once offered Horvat , My offer was a first and second. That is what I offered not Bo not Boeser not Pettersson and not OJ |

Hard to keep up with your twists and pivots. Anyway. Proven...none... other then old Danny and LE. Potential given right support and opportunity are BB, Goldy, Dahlen and Sven for top 6 offense for wing. Could add in versatile Granlund and EP if you want with Gagner as possibles.

Your top guy you mentioned had 18 goals last year Pasternak had 34 see the difference? |

LE had 30 goals with Bruins before coming to Canucks. My point was don't get caught up in the numbers for comparable as different teams skew things. We also haven't seen our top guys make it yet too. Plus there are other needs Canucks have over trading valuable assets for a scoring winger.
But you have veered off here. If your point is trade a 1st and 2nd for Pasternak. I'd say wrong move if it was acceptable for Bruins. |

Loui scored 13 goals because he was with the twins , and then he played with the likes of even lesser players.
You guys want to bring back the twins and then wonder why are the new guys not scoring like they use to?
Put Pasternak with E Kane and Bo as a top line . |

That's what it would take though, it's at best a lateral move. |

Calgary got Hamonic for a first and two seconds. Larsen for Hall. I think most GMs would listen to a top 5 pick
Drouin and conditional 6th for Sergachev 9 th OA and conditional 2 nd |

WOW!! if that's the case I want the guy that's passing the puck to Pasternak.
Any goals scored by Boeser this year will be a plus and it doesn't cost us any assets.

For us? Probably Bo, Boeser and/or Juolevi and our 1st this year. So no, we don't have enough depth to make a move like that right now. If we were closer to contending or making the playoffs then you could explore a move like that. - DariusKnight

Vantel I have never said bring back the twins. Those are other posters. I'd pay for a young power forward UFA Kane cause Canucks are missing that type of player. But would not give up assets for Pasternak when other wingers Canucks have can play up to that role. |

Please tell me you are joking.....Pastrnak is a 1st line scorer. We currently, as of right now, do not have that.

Don't take one part of the sentence out of context. Priorities are top center and top D and then power forward. There are some skilled forwards in the system that can be top line wingers. |
