As much as I want him, I doubt he would do that waiting this long to not see what other teams have to offer (outside of the max contract everyone will be offering).

I do hope we can make him change his mind. I do think our GM is good a laying out the plan and explaining how development has help the Penguins players shine in the NHL pretty quick. If GMJB can develop similar to Pitt, we could have quite a team for years to come! Very excited he is our GM!
