I don't see anything wrong with management showing a player, clips of another successful NHL player, and saying "hey look, this guy is successful, makes a ton of money, playing a style which we feel you would benefit from, why don't you take a look" lol. Tryamkin is a wuss.

Sounds like what Doug Lidster was pushing on him was to play mean. He doesn't seem have that in him. Needs to learn to use his body better for defense, handle the puck, shoot accurately and train better.
So maybe he's not ready for NHL level play and needs more development. Will getting top line minutes in KHL help over competing for bottom line minutes on Canucks this season is questionable. The family/home stuff looks to be a red herring side show. When Tree spoke back in Russia he talked about hockey gripes. Whether accurate or not shows he's a hockey players first as far as where his mind is at.
That at least gives an indication that hockey reasons will be enough for him to return at some point. That may not be with Canucks and the value of trade will depend on his development over there.
