I was after the Watkins trade.

The defense will be better but the offense will be worse.

It's preseason so I don't read much into the struggles but the o line looks bad and Taylor looked lost without Watkins. Him and his receivers aren't on the same page at all.

I know we are talking 2 different wings, but I think Pominville will end up playing more time in the top 6 than we might like. The difference is that he would be playing with better centers than he ever has, so it might be fine. I'm not sure Pominville and Vanek would be, though.
