I have a bad feeling a deal with Girgensons for Kessel is in the works. My goodness I hope JB is smart enough not to do this. Kessel is a 1 dimensional player. He's getting long in the tooth, and eventually the fact he doesn't really takes great care of his body will catch up to him, and will prob catch up to him faster than most players. The Sabres do need a top 6 winger, but not a 1 dimensional aging chubby guy, making 8 mil against the cap. |

He's getting long in the tooth, and eventually the fact he doesn't really takes great care of his body will catch up to him, and will prob catch up to him faster than most players. The Sabres do need a top 6 winger, but not a 1 dimensional aging chubby guy, making 8 mil against the cap.

Kessel is still one of the best wingers in the league, he produces a ton of points and is a proven playoffs performer. Not many of those around. |
