I have a bad feeling a deal with Girgensons for Kessel is in the works. My goodness I hope JB is smart enough not to do this. Kessel is a 1 dimensional player. He's getting long in the tooth, and eventually the fact he doesn't really takes great care of his body will catch up to him, and will prob catch up to him faster than most players. The Sabres do need a top 6 winger, but not a 1 dimensional aging chubby guy, making 8 mil against the cap. - Dukey3030
I'm not sure if you're serious or not. If you are it's time to delete your account......also Kessel cap is $6.8 mil |

This.
But Peterman does have a deep ball. I'm not gonna go finding the TC videos fort you and the fade and back-shoulder passes he's been making in the pre-season.
But this whole "He's playing against 2nd and 3rd stringer" crap needs to stop, too. Even fringe NFL'ers are only a slight talent drop-off and his O-line is also 2nd and 3rd team, as well ass everyone around him. So the playing field lowers on both sides of the ball, if anything, and having decent stats with players who only ever make a practice squad isn't such a small feat. - BeadyEyedDouche
Big problem is with the west coast offense a QB has to unload early, anticipating his receivers getting open. Tyrod has not proven capable of this in 7 years, as he has to see a receiver open to pass it to him. It's not a knock on Tyrod, it just is what it is. Peterman has this ability. This may end ugly for Tyrod. |

They have a ton of cap space in 2018, so not an issue. Why would Cousins want to come to Buffalo, though? |

I'd rather start a rookie next year.
Cousins is not worth what he is making now. |

This is the point we're all trying to make. Is not that Peterman looks like the second coming, it's that Tyrod has shown to have zero QB awareness, he still stares down his receiver, he refuses to run sometimes when it would be an easy 1st and he's shown terrible pocket presence despite his elusiveness.
I seen Peterman going through his progressions in 2 games now. I've literally never seen Tyrod do it once. |

I'd rather draft 6 starters to surround cousins in the spring then move half those picks for a qb
I am hearing now, the 2 kids may not even enter the draft next spring |

Yes, but Cousins will have multiple suitors and Buffalo, where it's not easy to pass past Thanksgiving, wouldn't be on the top of my list. Plus, we may have the worst group of wr's in the NFL, though I suppose that could change. |

If you can guarantee Cousins signing sure. I just don't see it.
Miami, Jacksonville, Cleveland, hell even Pittsburgh since Big Ben won't say what his plans are for next season. Are all teams the Bills will be competing for his services |

Or since it seems they are going down the road of a rebuild, move Tyrod for a 3rd if it's even possible |

for the most part, I ignore pre season
but when he looks that bad, it was the baltimore game with more turnovers
you should not look this bad, after a full training camp |

I'd take the dolphins WRs over the Bills plus their O-Line.
And warm weather. Buffalo is a hard sell I think. |

No he shouldn't but he's a deep ball QB and they literally traded his biggest deep threat 5 days ago. |

IDK, Tyrod has been kicked to the curb pretty much his entire career here by management and many fans. He needs to be better than he was last night, that's for sure. I still believe in him. Peterman looks like a more than capable backup.
The whole "don't freak out, it's only pre season" is such a cliché thing to say. First of all, I'm not "freaking out." It would be nice to see the starting offense put a drive together and score a touchdown though. |

the bills stick with blah qb's too long (jp, fitz, edwards, johnson, tyrod)
after 2 years, they are who they are
move on |

maybe rust would interest you... hate to lose him but he's a botteril guy and pens need center depth... |
