Curious, if he is having a career year why wouldn't he wait till summer to max out his salary? - Kaynine

One of these years you'll be right.
Just not the next 2 or 3. |

In Arizona. Was 14 points in 26 games. 5 PP points. 15 minutes per game.
In WPG. 2 points 23 games. 0 PP points. 11 minutes per game.
LWL has him playing with Domi and Duclair in Arizona.
I just don't know which one will show up. Depends on how Green would use him. - manvanfan
Winnipeg sure under achieves for a team with that much talent. |

Coaching. I like Paul Maurice but he is going to lose the room sooner rather than later. |

Totally…as is with most players here. - LordHumungous
It's just hard because i'm not sure that Burmy is a top 6 player. If you can play him sort of the same as Gagner in Clb. 4th line duties but on the first PP. Get him around 13 minutes a game. I don't know if I trust him defensively to play 3rd line minutes with Sutter playing against other teams top lines. |

True. I have chatted on more than one occasion with Paul Postma here at the camps and he has insinuated that many of the WPG players don't mesh with Maurice. |

I totally agree with that. He's a good coach but I never thought he was the coach to take that team into the playoffs. Wpg plays in a tough division. Maurice'c contract is set to expire this year and people are wondering why he hasn't signed an extension yet. |

I don't think so, he hasn't proven anything yet at the NHL level. I agree with you, 4th line center with some PP time. Unless he really excels this year, he's a stop gap for a 4th line center till Gaudette is done school. |

I think if he makes the team at all, it's on the wing. |

Man is it tough to find a natural center these days. Someone to step right in and produce. |

Yeah, that's why it's so sought after. Much more responsibility, not a lot of players have that coming out of juniors. Even though EP seems to play a lot of wing, I think he will be a center in the NHL. Does anybody know what EP plays in Vaxjo? |

Okay. I can see why. Curious if it has legs with the HB Oiler fan base. Gave them a does this work for you heads up. Let's see if they answer here or not. - Nuck4U
The only way I envision a deal like that happening is if a significant portion of his cap hit is withheld for the duration of the contract. The only reason we'd trade Nuge is to free up a good deal of cap space and the 1.6ish difference between he and Sutter wouldn't be enough. Even then, I'm sure I'd prefer another route.
I'm much more focused on higher ceiling guys or prospects from team's that could use C depth. However, pickings might be slim as only Montreal, Vegas and Arizona really have a "need" at C (Arizona's a stretch with Strome and Dvorak on the rise). Someone like Beauvillier or whoever looks like the next Brayden Point would be what I'm after. |
