The only way I envision a deal like that happening is if a significant portion of his cap hit is withheld for the duration of the contract. The only reason we'd trade Nuge is to free up a good deal of cap space and the 1.6ish difference between he and Sutter wouldn't be enough. Even then, I'm sure I'd prefer another route.

I'm much more focused on higher ceiling guys or prospects from team's that could use C depth. However, pickings might be slim as only Montreal, Vegas and Arizona really have a "need" at C (Arizona's a stretch with Strome and Dvorak on the rise). Someone like Beauvillier or whoever looks like the next Brayden Point would be what I'm after.

I think if he makes the team at all, it's on the wing.
- manvanfan

I remember seeing an interview after we signed him that he said he's a center not a winger. I can't seem to find the interview though. Either way there is competition and he's far from a lock to make the team. He did have success with Newel Brown's PP with Ari last year. Low salary low risk.

Rodin will be interesting at camp. No one has him pencilled in to make the team but we really don't know what we have because of his injury last year. He's another smaller skilled forward, which we probably have too many of them. I do really like that it appears to be a competitive camp.

Who would you have playing with Sutter? Between Sutter and Gagner (if they are both playing center) who would you put in a more offensive position?

I don't think Tanev gets traded unless its a block buster. MDZ could get traded at TDL or Gudbrandson but the RH side would be very weak unless they sign a guy like Franson to replace Tanev

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚Franson replace Tanev is weak๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
If Tanev traded live with it I say & not sign duds for plugs.
