Didn't Mathews go a long stretch without scoring last year and one of the other two picked up the slack ... if they are injured the leafs might not have made it ...take the best 5 players from every team and see how many games were lost to injury ...leafs would be near the bottom of that ...that could continue but they could regress to the mean

reality is the flames indirectly benefited from LA's injuries. a healthy quick and LA easily knocks the flames out of the playoffs.

kings are still plenty good with doughty and kopitar. they should be a playoff team again.

florida is junk. i am worried about TB knocking us out. leafs will likely have to be better than at least one of ott, mtl, rags or c-bus to make it. no guarantees of that happening.

Our forwards are not good either though . Our top forward scored 20 goals.

The leafs had a lot go right last year and barely made it ....there's no way their top 5 scores miss only 10 games or whatever they did
