Leafs will make the playoffs, Canucks will finish bottom 5, that is about as far as I will go on either team. - Codes1087
Not sold on Anderson or the Leafs D.
TB & FLA both will be better & the Leafs gotta show they r a PO team again. |

Dream time:
Just after Xmas - After hearing the demands from his fans (joking), LL finally caves and trades TOR 1st'18 + prospect for Tanev.
Soon after the trade, Matthews gets injured and misses the remainder of the year.
Leafs miss playoffs by 2 to 3 spots.
Leafs lotto pick gets 1st.
Canucks lotto pick gets 2nd.
And Bob's your uncle. - storm88

Has 50 lbs on Pettersson already.
Was triple, double, and a ppg in the 3 divisions he played in last season. Even got into one game at the in the Allsvenskan league.
I haven't seen this guy on any list for top 30 for next season. I'm not exactly sure why though.
I would have to say unless this kid falls off hard, he will be in contention for a top 15 pick next season.

McIsaac will be an excellent defenseman. I am all in for him or Veleno.
Many nice players in this draft, so we should end up getting 2 very nice additions to prospect pool, maybe more if Benning can add to the top 2 rounds via a trade.
Samuelsson McShane would be nice picks in the 2nd if available. Can't wait for next draft.
I will be posting my hopefuls lots over the next couple months, in case I lose the deal with Darius, which means I won't be posting again until next summer. |

Craig Cunningham will have his number reired by the Coyotes
I guess when you have even less stars than the Canucks in the history of your franchise , you look for any reason to hang a jersey |

I was hoping Canucks would be retiring Bob Manno's number(22) this upcoming season.

I hope the Canucks go D heavy next year at the draft. Use the first round pick for a forward and after that 5 of 7 D.
I feel the forward prospect pool is taking shape already plus hoping for a trade of a top 6 forward.
D ,yeah that's the way to go. |

Our biggest issue is still scoring. Two more top 6 forwards will do a world of good. |

They just started building. They have a long ways to go before anyone can say the prospect pool is deep. Keep drafting BPA.
Not a lot of depth to trade for a top 6 forward, either. |

I still think they've gotta take the BPA, no matter their draft position. They're weak at all positions as I don't see a sure think other than perhaps Boeser. |

Scoring and grit = Brady Tkachuk.
Pretty sure the team would never be in a position to pick Rasmus Dahlin |

I'm waiting for the crazy trade where everyone is left scratching their heads. A Tanev and Baertschi or Granlund for a top 6 fwd and 2nd or 3rd round pick.
that prospect pool will never be deep enough, always have to draft and develop. |

Too early to say they are weak. I think Pettersson will be a NHL player. I have a hunch on Gadjovich. Dahlen Virtanen and Goldobin are the big question marks?
So far on D the only one with a good chance of being a NHLer is OJ
That is my opinion |
